William's Tribunal Fee - How Much

Recommended Posts

Posted

This is not what you think he's worth (£Nil) after the first 4 games but what you think the tribunal will rule as a fair payment. Read the Guidelines below and make a considered guess at the Value they put on him.

There could well be an appeal, this vote is only for the original decision.

IMPORTANT - You only need to vote on the basic payment, not all the extras, see examples where this figure is highlighted

The change in my pocket...let me see...£1.58

Personally I think that is too much!

If the hearing decides £250,000 or something close to that does it mean we will have some money left to spend on a midfielder with a bit of backbone! Instead of the spineless crap we have at the moment!

I don't care if he is 95, please just someone who can make that killer pass which can put our strikers on goal. When Pompey went up they had Merson, when we went up we had Izzet...someone creative please! Even if they are winding down their career I don't care, just need someone who can produce the goods so we don't have to watch Watford play ever again.

can i just ask what happens if we cant afford him will forest get him back please god

Can't happen. We have to pay for him even if it's £20,000,000. It won't be over a million though. The biggest tribunal fee in history is £300k or something. They are bullshit.

i thinks its gonna be about £500,000 due to being a full scottish international

Joe Kinnear wants any money from Gareth Williams' tribunal to go towards his transfer kitty.

Kinnear was travelling to London today to find out how much Leicester must pay for the Scottish midfielder.

Forest will also discover the fee they will pay Stoke City for Kris Commons at the Football League tribunal.

And Kinnear wants the cash to boost his squad, after admitting it is unlikely he would receive any money if Andy Reid was sold.

He said: "I will be looking to invest that money and I will be disappointed if I am not allowed to spend it.

"We have already turned down an offer of £750,000 for Williams and we will be looking for £3million.

"I would think money from any sale of Reidy would go towards servicing the debt. But we are running a tight ship. I have only been able to spend £25,000 since I have been here."

The amount Leicester will pay will be governed by how long Williams has been at the City Ground and the wages the Foxes have offered him.

Other factors like the money the club got for Jermaine Jenas and David Prutton will also be taken into consideration, as will the fact Williams has played for Scotland.

It is a compensation issue rather than any perceived value he might have in the transfer market.

Kinnear said: "Hopefully, we will get something like what we think Gareth is worth.

"We offered him a king's ransom to stay and they offered more.

"I think he is up there on a par with the likes of Prutton and Jenas.

"We have got to get someone in to replace him and the chairman is well aware of that and, hopefully, this might give me a bit more leeway."

****in hell!

Well I don't see anywhere in the criteria listed above that the money they received from Prutton and Jenas would have any bearing.

I'm als ont aware of any sunstative interest from other clubs.

Having said that their is arumour amongst the trees that it has been fixed at £1.2m rising to £1.5m depending on appearances. :w00t:

that's the joy of it all, you can't, you will be bound to the price (but i think it can go to appeal)

what's he got a four year contract? he should come good in about three and a half years then when he's looking for a new one.

i've seen the rumour of the price, but that is all it is at the mo, a rumour, don't know with your lot but 99.999% of em are carp
