Larry_LCFC Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Saw this table on twitter. Extremely pleasing to see that we are the best performing team in the championship and 14th in the country (and wales). Average of 1.70 points per game and just 13 league losses out of 44 in 2013. Nigel Pearson, I love you big man
foxfanazer Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 And that's with that dreadful run last season!
Larry_LCFC Posted 30 December 2013 Author Posted 30 December 2013 Interesting to see we are one of the highest scoring teams aswell with 72 goals this year.

Larry_LCFC Posted 30 December 2013 Author Posted 30 December 2013 72 scored 51 conceded Beat me to it I knew what i meant
yorkie1999 Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 http://www.soccerstats.com/latest.asp?league=england2 2.09 ppg for this season so far.
sdb Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 amazed, considering that awful run of 10-15 games
ScouseFox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Considering we barely won a game between Feb and May that is impressive.
BlooArmeh! Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Derby wouldn't be anywhere near that list without their recent run. Also, doesn't the fact that clubs in the Premier League have played 6/7/8 games less than us somewhat warp the statistics?
Larry_LCFC Posted 30 December 2013 Author Posted 30 December 2013 Its all done on averages though and based on points per game. I dunno, I hate maths. Point still stands though, we are the best in our league

red5 Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Considering we finished 6th last season, 3 above us got promoted so no surprise they're not high, the other 2, Brighton are one place below us and Watford have been crap this season, so it's no big surprise at all. Still nice to be top though.
Deucalion Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Burnley aren't too far behind though, so best to not get too complacent. But it's an encouraging statistic nontheless.

Paulmot Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 It shows that we won 7 lost 8 and drew 6 after new year last season. We have won more than twice that in 23 games so far. 12 Wins and 4 draws from 23 games should be enough to go up in an automatic promo place. Going to Stoke looking for a good display hopefully with 3 points secured at Millwall.
Paulmot Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 We Have a 65% Win rate this season nearly 2 in 3. Compared to our run in last year 21 games 7 wins only 1 in 3.
Sydney Fox Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Impressive but means not much to this season. Need a similar record in the next half
