Vlad the Fox Posted 24 January 2014 Share Posted 24 January 2014 Can anyone help. I'm putting music onto my ipod and have a few albums with large spaces of nothing between some tracks. Is there anyway I can lose this space in iTunes so the tracks run straight after each other as it's effing annoying when listening to an album and you hit these quiet bits. I'm sure I've come across a setting to remove this space before but I can't seem to find it anymore. Thanks.
21st Century Fox Posted 25 January 2014 Share Posted 25 January 2014 I think Apple scrapped Gapless Playback which is annoying. I think if you go into individual tracks, go to Get Info and then the options tab, there's a Start and Stop time, you can change the Start time to cut out the pauses and silences. There's probably an easier work-around, but I'm not sure since the loss of Gapless Playback.
Voll Blau Posted 25 January 2014 Share Posted 25 January 2014 Why do bands do this?
separator Posted 26 January 2014 Share Posted 26 January 2014 If you want an annoying album, check out Zaireeka by the Flaming Lips. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaireeka You need 4 separate audio systems to listen to it.
