foxfanazer Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Don't worry, this isn't another promotion thread Just want to say how proud I am to be a Leicester fan. This current crop of players are a wonderful mix of youth and experience and all have their individual qualities that makes this one of my favourite Leicester squads of all time (I'm only 24). We have had to endure some crap over the years but it only makes this feeling all the more satisfying. Leicester til I die!
Vlad the Fox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 It helps that finally there has been some stability in the squad which apart from helping to bring about the performances we're seeing on the pitch allows the supporters to build a connection or rapport with the team.
Babylon Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Twice now Nigel has rescued us and restored some pride!

Your right but what do you mean when you say rapport with the team.Sitting in silence 2-0 up on 88 mins,8 points clear at the top?
Pasturesfox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Totally agree with the Nigel Pearson rescuing us comment and about being proud to be a Leicester Fan, mind you I was proud of Supporting Leicester when we got relegated. I was sceptical at the start of the season with no new signings but you are right , isn't it great that there are players who seem committed to Leicester's cause , first time in a long while where most players have got a song and seem to appreciate it being sung.
MC Prussian Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Twice now Nigel has rescued us and restored some pride! Let's get promoted first - some of the more negative lot won't be satisfied until we've crossed that threshold. But I agree with the OP, it makes for a nice and relaxed change. It's thoroughly flattering to see other clubs' fans either praising Leicester City or trying to give us stick. Honorary mentions, all of them.

Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Always been proud to be a Leicester fan because it's my team and thick, thin and thin yadda yadda, being proud of our team because of how they are doing and performing at the moment is easy! The balance in the squad and some of the scintilating football we play at blistering pace is a joy to behold at times.NP has done a phenomal job in re-building the team on his return to the home of football.
MC Prussian Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 We need to get promoted before we can be proud of the team? Oh no, I just think some people will never get tired of moaning and complaining about the manager and the way he keeps on playing. Personally, I couldn't be happier.
