Conditions last game

Outside, just walking in it was like being hit in the face with gravel and the wind blew some of those metal railings over that are used for crowd control outside the main stand.

Some poor little lad with a tray of chips lost them all to the wind and burst into tears with getting hit by the hail before his sibling pulled him under cover.

No one really had the time or inclination outside to film in that.

I was a bit late for the game so got caught up in it outside and thought the world was coming to an end.

I can't remember ever being in weather like that. The shards of hail whacking everyone in the face was horrible but kinda funny.

I've been a season ticket holder in roughly the same seats every single season we've had at the Walkers/KP since I was a kid, and I've never ever got wet sitting there until yesterday. The wind was whipping the hail right in our faces. Was a laugh until we realised the pitch was ****ed!

I'd have gladly had the rain hit me all game than affect that pitch like it did.

These 3 points should be dedicated to the groundsman and stewards that sorted that end out at half time!

My video of the storm as the players come out :P the shirt being lifted by the wind lol

Here was me thinking Gary Taylor Fletcher was out having a warm up?

That's nothing compared to the away end at Bristol Rovers yesterday.

A "hailstorm of biblical proportions" I think it was described as.

100 Newport fans taking shelter in the gents toilets was the highlight of the day!
