emmo1987 Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Help guys. We've always parked on roads such as Luther st , Ridley street, off fosse road. Now they charge you to park up to 3 hours and you need longer! Just wondered where other people park on that side of town?
dbtcity Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 We always park at either the tigers ground (£3) or the car park behind the sports centre on saffron lane (£4) both just a short walk to the ground and seem well secure, both are pretty easy to get out of to top it all off

Just wondered where other people park on that side of town?I was living on Danvers Road off Narborough Rd up to a couple of months ago and that was still any parking down there not residents only or any if that sort of thingOnly 15-20 minutes walk from the ground
Bellend Sebastian Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 My mate that lives on Danvers Road has just got rid of his car so there's at least one space more there than usual
emmo1987 Posted 12 February 2014 Author Posted 12 February 2014 Ah brilliant that's closer to where we used to park. !
broughtonblue Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Anyone else noticing you have to get there earlier for the previous 3 or 4 home matches to get decent road parking? I presume its because of all this residents parking shite that's going on!
Native Fox Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Freemans Meadow - You can't park here anymore, muwahahahaha
Bert Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Tudor Road. Still free (for now) and under 20 mins away.
danny. Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Freemans Meadow - You can't park here anymore, muwahahahaha What do you mean?
FoxG2 Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 I used to park on Alystone Lane or Saffron Lane, for this season the council have put double yellow lines on both sides on Aylestone Lane, this means that you have to artrive very early to get a parking space on Saffron Lane and surrounding streets. Who and why they decided to put double yellows on Aylestone Road after all these years I don't know
emmo1987 Posted 13 February 2014 Author Posted 13 February 2014 Tudor Road. Still free (for now) and under 20 mins away. Brill. Anyone else used to park of shaftsbury road? When you drive down there now there is no cars! Joke. All the houses down there are student or nhs workers ! They don't own cars!

Attendances are getting higher each game too, as we carry on our form, so that will probably have something to do with it too. More people = more cars.

Leicester Lass Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 What do you mean? Double yellow lines everywhere on there now.
danny. Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 ah really, is that new? The parking did look pretty horrendous last time I drove by. I have a house there but haven't been for a while. Always used to be loads of space but with the last batch of houses it went nuts
svensson Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Double yellow lines everywhere on there now. Have they been painted since saturday?
