Just checked every different labour or tory goverment since 1945 during its reign at some point, it's had leicester city in the top flight unless city don't do it this year it will be a first.

Depends on your definition of "government" though. For example the Brown government never had Leicester in the Premiership (Now there's a stat MattP, Webbo et al will love, he even buggered that up.) If you define it by "party in power" though, it's probably right.
