Keeper for next season?

If Kasper departs either Fraser Forster, Tim Wiese, Adrian if West Ham go down, or David Marshall will do. But, I firmly believe and hope Kasper will stay with us next season

If Kasper goes I'd go for David Stockdale from Fulham.

Good keeper. Always liked him when he was on loan to us and has been very unlucky at Fulham. Has the potential to be an England keeper.

Think Kasper will stay. Unless one of the big teams off loads their first choice keeper, and he's signed as replacement, I can't see him leaving. I've always understood he wants to play in the premier league, not sit on a bench.

It will all boil down to money the mor teams his agent can get interested the more power they have over LCFC when it comes to contract talks . As a free agent he will want a decent signing on fee as well no doubt wont he ?

I would imagine Kasper will be offered a new contract as soon as we are guaranteed promotion, or certainly by the end of May, he may then have to decide to sign & stay or wait until the other clubs make their move for him ( if they do) and risk NP signing a new keeper. I'm sure NP will have at least 2 keepers on his list and therefore would want it sorted before his holidays if possible.

Obviously would be nice to keep the majority of this years team together but NP must know Kasper could be improved on. If Logan is replaced with a decent keeper then Kasper may not be our no 1 keeper next year.

I am less concerned about Kasper leaving because I don't tgink it will happen. But more concerned that we need an experienced 2nd keeper, its a big ask for Logan to play in the prem having barely had championship football.

If Kasper wants to leave and Cardiff go down, I'd look at signing David Marshall. He was he best keeper in the Championship last season and Cardiff may well already just about be relegated if it wasn't for some great performances from him.

Personally I'm not concerned about Kasper leaving, I think he will and I want him to.

I don't like his attitude and I feel he is the most over rated player of the current side. There have been countless occasions he has been at fault but only the Doncaster one ever gets mentioned.

In my view Blackpools goal at the weekend was another Kasper mistake that slipped by without any comment. And the way in which he got away with the Watford play off error (star jumps in the corner when he could've just stayed in position and comfortably saved Deeneys shot) has always baffled me.

There are a number of potential replacements but if we could sign Butland on a permanent deal that would be my personal choice.

I think Butland might be a little early. That's why I'd go for someone older and with Prem experience. Give him a couple of years and Butland looks like he's gonna be a top keeper.

I'm yet to see any concrete evidence that a big enough club is after him.

We're jumping the gun a bit here. There is every chance that he'll be at Leicester next season.

This. Also, is he really big club material yet? He is brilliant for us don't get me wrong, but there are elements of his game that he still needs to improve. High ball and decision making when coming off his lines are just two areas...no I'm not complaining, no in don't want him to go and yes I think he will be good enough for us next year....just not convinced yet about..'big' teams
