Guest MattP Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Are people actually being serious thinking an out of contact Kasper chooses Leicester over Man U or Milan? Milan are arguably the world's second biggest club and he has always said it's his dream to play for Man U. Serious blue tints on some.
Fox Ulike Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Could Ricardo be tempted back I believe Ricardo is still playing and available, yes:
Soar Fox Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 . Have a good look at your sentence. That's what he means. I would ask about your opinion on whether you think we'll need a new keeper or not next season. But I won't bother seen as what you know about football I could write on a postage stamp.
LCCFox96 Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 If Kasper stays then I'd sell Logan or terminate his contract. He needs to play football and I don't fancy him in goal in the PL (if we make it). He's been loyal but time to go our sepreate ways come June I think. I'd then like a good u/21 international keeper with real potential to come into the squad to understudy Kasper. This could provide very good cover and a top prospect should Kasper eventually leave. If Kasper goes...well we have big shoes to fill. Fraser Forster or Alex McCarthy would be my choices.
stevelcfc Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 I believe Ricardo is still playing and available, yes: Kevin Pressman is looking slimmer!
LAprice_ Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Controversial opinion but since when were a 10th placed Serie A club a 'big team'. AC Milan were great a few years back but they're hardly world class now. Schmeichel sitting on the bench there would be like Schmeichel sitting on the bench at West Ham.

It really isn't, it's an amazing club with great history. Only Real have more European cups. Going through a bad time at the minute but who doesn't, Barca nearly got relegated ten years ago, that didn't compare them to someone like Norwich. People are underestimating Kaspers self belief and confidence as well. He'll believe wherever he goes he can wrestle the number one spot off whoever it is.
biggs Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 All this is assuming we go up....stranger things have happened with this club I'd expect he'd sign again with us for at least a year. He would get the exposure of the premiership and with a good season in the prem he'd have the bargaining power he doesn't have now.
blue army 1988 Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Kasper wont go and ac milan have reportedly been looking at the levante keeper. if he did go however i would look to sign brad friedel.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Kasper going to go to Forest because they won the champions league this year
conLAD logan Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Logan is the chosen one. fit, athletic, the worlds best looking man and much more; why not just cancel kasper's contract now while we're at it?
Oxshottfox Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Kasper is a flapper on crosses... Absolute pants. We will be well rid 😊
sdb Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Butland That was my thinking. Stoke would be keen unless Begovic goes. Shay Given? Lost it years ago. Was always overrated anyway.

Fox92 Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Regardless of whether Kasper leaves or stays (I think he'll stay if we are promoted), I'd go for David Marshall when Cardiff go down. Very, very good goalkeeper. Then we'd have two very capable goalkeepers pushing each other. Kasper is a good goalkeeper but is an automatic choice because of Logan's ability.
shen Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 If Kasper is off, I would like us to make an audacious bid for Yann Sommer. Might be tempted to play in the Prem for a big wad of money

fuchsntf Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Goalkeeper for next season....simples, theres a top goalkeeper ready to try the PL with the foxes.... KASPER SCHMEICHEL, hes quite good Ive heard
Donut Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Were having a debate on nothing more than idle speculation. Kasper will be in goal for our first league game next season.
Fox Ulike Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 Were having a debate on nothing more than idle speculation. It's taken you just 798 pages of threads to realise this?
Jonezy Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 I don't think Kasper will leave if we go up, but he if did, we should swap a Dane for a Dane and go for Lindegaard at Man Utd. At one point I actually believed that Lindegaard was the better keeper, but he hasn't played on a regular basis in a long time.
smudger63 Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 I really don`t rate Fraser Forster myself. He has kept lots of clean sheets in the SPL i will grant you, but that is in a league where Billy McKay who was no better than average at Northampton, is one of the leading goalscorers! For me, if Kasper was to leave, i would try and get Jack Butland from Stoke, and if they wanted to keep him, i`d go for their other keeper Bergovic instead.
