fuchsntf Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 I don't think Kasper will leave if we go up, but he if did, we should swap a Dane for a Dane and go for Lindegaard at Man Utd. At one point I actually believed that Lindegaard was the better keeper, but he hasn't played on a regular basis in a long time. Now theres a good call.. Turns the question on its head.A twist on the story. Lets say WE WERE looking for a goalkeeper, Lindegaard for all reasons and promise of 1st team football.
lcfcjw16 Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 Reina from Liverpool when he comes back from loan in the summer and butland as backup?
sdb Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 Reina and Begovic...wow. This place could go up a notch in terms of lunacy if we go up.
CPW22 Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Marshall from Cardiff would be my preference. He's shown he can perform at that level, he just has a poor back 4 in front of him. That said I don't want Kasper to go anywhere.
Stadt Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Reina and Begovic...wow. This place could go up a notch in terms of lunacy if we go up.The prem is a big draw but we're Leicester City not Manchester City.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 If Kasper is off, I would like us to make an audacious bid for Yann Sommer. Might be tempted to play in the Prem for a big wad of money you've been playing too much FM mate
Alex_LCFC Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Reina from Liverpool when he comes back from loan in the summer and butland as backup? very ambitious
sdb Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 The prem is a big draw but we're Leicester City not Manchester City. That was my point. Ridiculous suggestions.
shen Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 you've been playing too much FM mate Undeniably. Which is why I used the word audacious. I'm amazed he's still at Basle. The times I've seen him he's been excellent, and the Prem is surely a bigger draw than the Swiss Super League...
rico Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Ben Hamer http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11688/9205923/transfer-news-charlton-goalkeeper-ben-hamer-a-target-for-several-clubs
Guest MattP Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Buffon if Courtois, Reina, Begovic and Neuer turn us down.
LCCFox96 Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Ben Hamer http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11688/9205923/transfer-news-charlton-goalkeeper-ben-hamer-a-target-for-several-clubs Just read that this morning and it seems plausible enough. A young (for a goalie) keeper whose out of contract so wouldn't cost a dime and coming from Charlton is likely to be fairly cheap in wages. He could be cover though.

LanguedocFox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 David Marshall? Apparently he kept Southampton down to four on Saturday, and he'll want away from Cardiff if, as seems likely, they go down.
4ever and ever Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 David Marshall? Apparently he kept Southampton down to four on Saturday, and he'll want away from Cardiff if, as seems likely, they go down. Cardiff played against Everton and Marshall was incredible!
Happy Fox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Fraser Forster would be a good player to bring in if Kasper wants out. Playing in the SPL is hardly going to improve him further, and if he wants to play for England more regulary than a spell in the prem will help his cause.
Langston Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 I think David Marshall is a cracking shout if Kasper's agent wants to play silly buggers with us.
Snooty Fox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Kasper will be off in the summer if a big club offer him a contract or a small club offer him superior wages. In spite of all his fist clenching, individual laps of honour etc don't be foolish enough to think Leicester City means anything to him. And in fairness why should it.
