Is Vardy a diver?

I think due to his speed and general body type (not exactly Mr Muscles), when he gets touched he goes down due to his fragility and velocity. Not a diver, just gets pushed off the ball easily.

Knocky is a diver, that's for sure, but I don't think Vardy is. His sheer pace does make a fall look pretty bad, but that's all.

No he isn't.

Knockaert on the other hand goes down far too easily and needs to cut it out of his game.

Interesting one this. Is it me, or has there been a massive up-turn in the amount of penalties that refs are giving, definately in the Prem?

It would appear that any little touch.. ANY... and the player goes to ground. Effectively, its becoming a no-contact sport in the penalty area. Lets have it right, the contact that is made on some of these players DOES NOT warrant them falling down like they have been shot.

That said, I actually don't think this of Vardy. I think he gets 'fouled'.. as in, enough contact is made such that he can't stay on his feet. Some players are certainly diving. I don't think Vardy is one of them.

He doesn't look for the dive, he looks for the contact then goes down... That's what football has become but with his strength and pace of like to see him stay on his feet a bit more IMO
