JonnyBoy Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 I'd seriously be tempted to go as an ex player, 4,000 Full Kit Wankers would be hilarious does the full kit have to be a leicester kit? i have a lcfc top from last year and i could wear just sport shorts and knee high socks? think people will be more inclined to do it if that was the case.. rather spending a fortune on a lcfc kit that goes out of date the following match

Jace Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 I think as long as its any blue Leicester shirt with white shorts and blue socks would look decent this season preferable but shouldnt matter too much what season it is would be more in theme than dressing normally
yorkie1999 Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 You won't get let in dressed as stewards. I've never done security at Hud but I've not worked a single event in my life that hasn't stopped punters wearing high-viz gear. For good reason too, it's a massive security risk, you can't have people dressed up as stewards, whose job it is to help people who need help, tackle the odd pitch-invader etc. It's a bad idea and you won't get let in anyway. What about dressed as st. johns ambulance men? No-one will question 4000 st. johns ambulance men turning up.
bluesbrothers Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Need to run with the GTF idea. Anyone overweight / over 40 must wear a shirt with "Taylor Fletcher" 22 on the back too, to increase the confusion.
SlaneyLCFC Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Bit of an ask but i don't suppose anyone is heading down to the stadium whilst this is going on at all? I wouldn't mind grabbing the away shirt in a size Large, but living down in somerset means it's a struggle, especially with work etc. If anyone is thinking of grabbing one then i will go halfers and pay for postage. Asked a workmate who is in Leicester but he is too snowed under sorting out his Wife's birthday!!!! Drop me a reply here or PM if anyone is able to help Cheers guys any helpers on this? If not then no drama's. COYB
Harry - LCFC Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 You don't have to wear a proper kit if you don't want to. I'm sure everyone's got some Leicester shirt of some description, turn up in that and any white shorts and that'll do.

I stood right behind the goal, my son and his mate were calling/texting me during the pre waffle on Sky, as I was clearly visible and they all said I looked like a steward at the game.
CPW22 Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 I can see the stewards idea taking off. You can get a jacket from sports direct for about a fiver.
