The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Like everyone else I'm sick of this league and the unpredictability of it. We've done incredibly well to get thus far but I wouldn't want another season in it
Voll Blau Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Cardiff fans could have fought it, but only a minority did. Majority seem happy in red scarves as long as they're playing against the big boys. No sympathy with those who still turn up to games and line Tan's pockets.
Raj Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Im sure you agree After 10years of playing the same teams you need a challenge. think we'll struggle next season but with eyes open wide and expecting the worse any win of sort will be great!!! p.s shame what's happening to our club,as footy fans we all have to be careful what we pray for...ue rich owners....p.p.s..Dont take this person.ally but being at your ground for kermos play off pen..i still hope you get relegated....hope you understand...no offence...x
Strokes Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 A relegation dogfight can be as thrilling as a promotion chase, its what you make of it i guess. If the players show heart and fight, i will follow intently.
jonthefox Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Just supposing there was no promotion to the prem,i'd quite relish the idea of being reigning champions.
Richard Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 We've spent too long out of the top flight, we need to re-establish ourselves as the top flight club we used to be, and the club that the ground was built for
Trav Le Bleu Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Like everyone else I'm sick of this league and the unpredictability of it. We've done incredibly well to get thus far but I wouldn't want another season in it Against the predictability of losing more often than not? Not saying I'd prefer to be in the Championship, but that unpredictability actually makes things more interesting, not the reverse. I also think we're much better equipped to go up than when we last did - younger, improving team (against older team with little chance of improving) and much wealthier owners. It won't be easy, but I think we'll make a real good go of it.
CPW22 Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Difficult question to answer really. Everyone would take 17th next season, but then we need to progress. I live in Norwich and most of their fans dislike their manager and the football they play. I believe it's because they haven't developed since going up. The target model is Southampton or Swansea, prior to the last few months. In answer to your question, I would take losing more games than winning next season but I know that 'buzz' I get will come from getting a big scalp at home or winning away when no one gives us a chance. Then the following year we push on and establish ourselves.
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Deffo want out of this league, there are so many positives from it like some brilliant away days, Forest and Derby. some crappy little grounds to visit, which for me are the best, thumping everyone in the league and disappointed at anything other than a win. But the premier league will be brilliant, i was speaking to my mate about him getting a season ticket, this season he comes 70% of home games and always asked who we have, and i was saying now that at the minute im saying teams like Yeovil, Doncaster, Middlesborough ect, not that appealing. but next season it will be teams like Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal ect, it will be amazing.
Zapp Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 As much as I enjoy the 2nd tier approach of winning so much this season, at the end of the day youre not in the elite group of teams. Its like a job, you have to work your way up. Would you rather be in a 2nd rate job that youre really good at, or a challenging job (with better pay) that takes you to better places? Sure you might have setbacks, but if you don't strive to be the best, whats the point?
