Tonight has shown us;

Koncheskey, King, Nugent, Dyer are not good enough for the Premier Leauge next season.

Moore is way out of his depth at right back. Class at centre half and will jump in front of a bullet to keep out the opposition, but technically he is not good enough his control, positioning, passing was all over the place.

As much as I love Phillips it's time to call it a day, no impact what so ever, no movement. Like playing with 10 men from the off.

Shown how vital to our side De Laet, James, Vardy and potentially Schlupp are. There was absolutely no movement, no pace, no creativity, no breaking up play, just an horrendous performance all round.

A new striker, a winger with pace & a left back to compete with Schlupp are a must!

Absolute garbage....the only thing tonight has shown us is that u can't go on a 48hr bender (trust me I was there) and then play 90 mins of football. I have no doubt there will be a response against Reading

Are you the little fella who's been seen in the videos recently?

Nuge was limited by being partnered with Phillips tonight, who shouldnt be a starter.

Thought King was actually one of our better players, made a point of watching his closely 2nd half and the guy doesnt stop moving, for a good 2 minutes he was the only one trying to make things happen as well.

I think there were several factors why that result happened

• their formation found gaps and space all around ours

• we didn't work no where near as hard to close down opposition, it was too easy for them to turn and pick out a simple pass

• hardly any challenges came from our midfield attack. The centre backs were the only guys puttin their foot in

• 5 key players missing

• complacency, possibly underestimating Brighton

• I saw Moore in the first 15mins back out of a few challenges which is very unlike him, maybe the players are worried about gettin injured and don't wanna miss the prem

I hope this is just a one off but that kind of football is what we will come up against often in the PL. I have faith in Pearson tho and I'm sure he knows what to expect!

Most disappointing thing for me was the performance of the bit part players, really felt they would have wanted to make a statement to NP suggesting they were good enough for their start and the prem next season... Like I said it's one game, let's hope whoever starts next game triestp grab that position as if their career depended on it!!

Come on city ;)

lol....no, but the lad can drink for his height!! On a serious note it was quite obvious the lads weren't at it tonight and it doesn't surprise me after the state the majority of them were in on Saturday. Some people will say its unprofessional but people need to put it in perspective. We've just made the Premier league, we've broken records left, right & centre & we've lost 1 game in 22! The lads have had the weekend of their lives which they deserve! We've obviously had a shitter tonight but it's gone now so we move onto the next game and no doubt will bring the title home come the end of the season. WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE

First we should give credit to Brighton - they did their homework, drew up a game plan and played to it. They harried us and out-muscled us in midfield especially, though not exclusively in midfield, seeming to have the energy to have four players closing down one of ours and either getting the ball back or forcing a panic pass which meant we lost control of the play at the very least. We are vulnerable to teams which swamp the centre midfield and there will be plenty of those next season. And to big teams - look how Antonio bossed De Laet on Friday.  We are also vulnerable to crosses - a combination of Schmeichel staying on his line and the centre halves (surprisingly given their experience and stature) seemingly unable to follow and out jump their runners. This too is an alarm bell for next season. So yes - with some fans anticipating a top half finish next season - tonight is a welcome reminder that we do have weaknesses which unless addressed next season  - will mean we have a miserable time indeed. there are loads of conclusions really -

Kasper may not be and indeed may never be the keeper his dad was (and the keeper most of the media already assume he is)

Moore/Mahrez/Knocky  still have a lot to learn

Wasy could be a suspension car crash in the Prem

Morgan/Drinkwater/King can dominate but can also be dominated

Phillips is an impact sub at best

Vardy's harrying and energy and pace are crucial when we play teams who enjoy playing from the back

Thought Wood and Dyer did okay but lloyds lack of final ball is a shortcoming we may not be able to afford in Prem

Final lesson - we 're still not good enough to go out on a 48 hr bender and beat play-off contenders. indeed we may never be good enough to do that.

Maybe I was watching a different game tonight, how people can say King was our best player is beyond me.

Without Morgan & Waselewski it could of been 5 or 6 tonight.

When you look at midfielder partnerships there is usually the one man who sits back and breaks the play up and the one man who gets forward and gives you that creativity. King fits neither of these roles due to his lack of strength and his shying out of challenges. Going forward he doesn't give you any creativity or that bit of magic required to change a game.

Let's remember we will be playing Premier League football next season and we will be coming up against the worlds best such as Hazard, Yaya Toure, Gerrard. Do people seriously think Andy King can compete with those?

I think people have an affection with King as he has came through our academy. If we had signed him from another club no way would people be so defendant. In my opinion it's no coincidence we're flying without him in the side.

I disagree with just about every single point you've made. Indeed, I'd go so far as to say that this is probably the worst post about football that I've seen since I've been on FoxesTalk. Congratulations!

In contrast, this is a particularly good post. The first two words are succinct and accurate, while the rest seems entirely reasonable. I particularly hope that you are right in your final comment - and imagine that you are. I can't believe that any of the players will want to face Pearson if they play like that again.

I certainly do trust you and trust that you were there. However, you are being a little flirtatious. I do feel that you should either spill the beans publicly or PM me and spill me the beans there (full gory details required). You can trust me as I trust you!

Konchesky was awful.

I've never been convinced by him, even during our good run.

I met the little guy tonight. He is indeed very small. Was tempted to say "Boss, the plane, the plane" but realised I'm not that much of a twaaaat to say it out loud.

Tonight showed us -

how important adrenaline is and it had all but disappeared after promotion was achieved.

How celebrating said promotion can affect performance.

How having arguably our 4 fastest players out ofvthe squad affects us even more so when two ofvthem are replaced by two ofvour oldest and slowest players.

Confucius says: He who is perceived by some to be sitting on the fence may sometimes gain a greater perspective that enhances his wisdom and raises his reputation within his community.  lol

Tonight was under exceptional circumstances (promotion, rotation, weekend p1ss up etc). So all of a sudden making ridiculous accusations about a team who have been incredibly consistent for 40 games is beyond me.

Sorry I'm just a flirt!!

Put it this way...just imagine being one of the lads that had to go through what we went through last season...then having the season of what we've just had.

Then imagine winning promotion and more or less winning the lottery on the bonuses in your contract.

Then imagine going on a night out with 20+ lads that have had the exact same experience as u and u spend more or less every minute of the day with.

Then imagine waking up with the worst hangover possible and having to play 90 mins of football against one of the best footballing teams in the Chanpionship!!!

That pretty much describes it!

Yh we had a shitter tonight...22,000 + 8000 plastic fans witnessed it. But deep down we all know that wasn't the real Leicester City that's got us where we are. Trust me the gaffer won't allow that again..

I feel sorry already for Reading nxt Monday!

didnt see, hear or know anything about the game outside the result (Plastic i know). but i had two bets placed tonight.

Bet 1 HT/FT result   - Brighton HT and LCFC full time (assumed we would be slow out of the blocks but Nige would bollock them to come back)

Bet 2 Brighton win  -  (Promotion hangover)

There was always going to be a let down after the completion of promotion and we were always going to give the squad a run. I cant imagine that this game offers any REAL new information about our players and squad.

I probably wouldn't of made it to the game if I went through all that emotion. Hang over part 4 LCFC special!

I am still feel effects of my weekend today and it's Wednesday!
