He's found his level in the championship. At Celtic you've got to be consistent all the while which is hard for wingers to do anyway. But so far he's looked very dangerous, I think he could be very useful this season for us.

well good luck 2 him, u sure u aint watchin a different player. he couldnt cut it in the shit league which is the SPL so if he is cutting it down there it doesnt say a lot 4 the championship. i have 2 say i never though we would get rid of him so as much as i h8 2 thank levein 4 anythin i have 2 say a double thank u 4 takin him & sylla.

on the other hand he cant b worse than mo camara maybe we should swap !

Thanks for coming down and playing us. From talking to a lot of Celtic fans they didn't exactly share your view on these players you are happy to slag off at will, and whilst you are quick to call our league shite, I'd like to remind you firstly of the scoreline, and secondly that if you'd bothered to make the trip you would have seen that we dominated for large periods of that game against a Celtic side that was a week ahead of us in terms of preparation for the season. You were average at best my friend (sorry if that bursts your happy illusions)

All in all it was a good natured clash and as my dad is a Celtic fan we enjoyed chatting with a few of your lot...Good natured clash BUT IT WAS OVER A MONTH AGO!!! There's nothing worse than having a guest that won't go home or get the hint. No one is interested in what you have to say about our players, and furthermore everyone here is capable of making up their own minds about our team.

If you insist on coming on here to slag us off you aren't welcome! Now haven't you got somewhere else to post, like possibly a CELTIC forum?!?!? Or are you City in disguise?

He's been very good so far but i would prefer him to run down to the line before he crosses. He cuts in a bit too much too but even saying that i have been very happy with him so far.

maybe the fact that we play 4-4-2 and dont use him as a wong-back means he is being played in his proper position and thus his performances have improved.

any way SHUT THE HELL UP and concentrate on trying to get the league back form gers

Flatters to deceive. He's quick, willing enough and has a trick or two but I've seen his sort many times. He can't shoot, he doesn't score and he doesn't directly make many either.

Hope he improves. Hope the coaches sort him out. Don't believe it will happen.

Another example of a foreign player who's no better than the English people we might be developing.

Wingers tend to get criticised more than most, even Gupps got criticised when he was here and at his peak. I think Sylla is more than good enough for us in this division. In general when you look throughout the division you are unlikely to find many wingers who keep up their best form on a consistent basis.

Agreed.

I have seen bits of play that really excite me, especially his pace and his skill at times. However, in each game I have seen him play Sylla starts off well enough but then fades away, particularly in the second half. Let's hope it's just a lack of match practice.

I'd have to disagree with the lazy comment, I feel he's got back and done his defensive duty more than you would expect for a winger whose job it is just to attack.

i think momo is a top player for the club, brings a bit of excitement and gets the crowd going. We've lacked skillful players at City so when one comes along its always appreciated. I think he might be better suited to playing in an attacking midfield position maybe? Behind the strikers in a muzzy type role. I'll leave that up to sir levein! Yep, top lad..and he shares me name!!!
