WhispyWizard Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 60 grand a week (one of man city's cheaper players) according to this http://www.tsmplug.com/football/man-city-players-salaries-2014/ and for that reason
Dan Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Richards would be England's first choice RB if it wasn't for injuries. Michael Johnson would probably have been first choice in England's midfield now if it wasn't for injuries.
LCCFox96 Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 I would love Micah Richards at Leicester. What a coup he would be. It won't happen due financial reasons - although he'd shoot up massively in my estimation if he did take a huge pay cut to come here. He's out of the reach of our wage budget sadly. I should imagine we be a stepping stone for him anyway and he'd move on again soon as he's usually always been quoted as having a number of suitors.
Father Ted Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 He'll want more than what we would be willing to offer him. Of course he will but the nature of FFP is a good thing. Greedy players will be forced on to the scrapheap unless they take pay cuts. Look at Titus Bramble, still a free agent for the last year because he's been stubborn regarding his wages. Clubs won't be splashing out silly wages on past it players anymore.
Haydos Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Really? On a free, aye. Is he out of contract? Without knowing the current wage structure and the overall plans for the summer it's difficult. Ideally wouldn't want players coming in on that much money but if they plan to bring in a few of his quality then we may as well get it over with. I think the most important thing is managing the players, are they the kind of group that will know how much people are signing for and are they going to be affected by it?

Cloud cuckoo land though in my book and I agree - as much as we want to show ambition we need to be careful not to rock the boat too much wages wise.
Rocky Dennis Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 IMO This 'link' is only slightly less ridiculous than Beckham, Hargreaves etc.
WhispyWizard Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Richards on £40k a week at a newly promoted club ... You lot are Bonkers
Asherz Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Didn't think I'd find someone who also follows Betis on here - went to see them in Easter for Seville derby actually. The atmosphere was incredible considering they'd basically gone down already. Vadillo does look decent. Would take Adan in a heartbeat if Schmeichel left too. Finn Claw II Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/476641/Arsenal-do-things-right-Man-City-s-Micah-Richards-hints-at-Gunners-move-after-FA-Cup-win I love the quote "Whether the former England international would be willing to take his chances competing against the likes of Carl Jenkinson - or whether he would prefer a safer option - remains to be see" Is competing against RDL a safer option. I think Micah is bricking it and picking the "safe" option at Arsenal.... LCFC MASSIVE
