He does seem to pick up injuries easier than most but surely you'd back Pearson and his staff to get him going again? Nige loves his sport science. Still don't think we'll buy him, mind.

Happy Fox Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Has all the attributes to be a top quality defender but he hasn't produced that form often due to injuries and lack of form if his wages were right and NP considers him a good fit to bring in then by all means lets get him. Though I suspect he will be out of our range.
5_Westwood Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Just seen on Sky Sports that he is considering his options this Summer, I think for the right money he could be a useful player if we could get hold of him for the right money etc, good cover at RB and can player at CB. Probably unrealistic but I think he could be a good player for us.

As if he wouldn't walk into our 1st team, he will go to Liverpool or spurs I would say and he'd be on ridiculous wages as well.

And that Mancini stayed for one entire month and four games and then left the playing field for good, because deep inside he knew he was already past it. There's already enough threads and mention of Richards. He won't come. Too expensive and too demanding - I can't see him taking a massive wage cut and coming here for peanuts, with us having to pay out another year on his contract.

I'm not fighting any battle, I think it's just as realistic as you lot do, I'm just saying sometimes, just sometimes strange things happen that is all. To be honest I wish i'd never brought it up, the stick I'm getting now.
