I've been having problems uninstalling/reinstalling some software, the last time this happened I was advised, by email by the supplier to remove some hidden/buried files relating to the programme. Unfortunately I also recently lost all my emails which included important ones like this this one.

All I remember it was something like 'regdit' does anyone know what it might be?

I can't contact the supplier a) because I've lost his email address and b) because he virtually told me to fook off as it wasn't their product they just sold it and I should contact someone in Taiwan or whatever it's called these days.

Signed

Yours extremely pissed off with anything to do with PCs.

are you trying to edit the registry?,i.e delete files in the registry?

have you tried doing a system restore?

I had that problem twice. The first time it was my power supply unit. Got a new one for 12 quid.

The second time I opened me pc up and cleaned the fan. I did it with cotton buds but the best way is an air spray thingy. It's amzin the ampunt of crap that came out.

When you use the "air spray thingy" make sure that you don't go too close else it breaks it :)

Why? I don't know

How? I don't know

Don't believe me? Try it for yourself then!!

My sounds fooked up, how can i sort it out DB 11?

Is it the speaker or the computer?

Have you tried some headphones or other speakers?

Go to device manager and see if the sound driver is in

Has the sound card gone?

Is the sound card pushed into the motherboard slot or has it come loose?

Somebody help me - How do I find out the password to my Speedtouch st585 v6.

Trying to connect my iTouch and I have no idea what the password is. Surely there is a way of finding out.

I had a itouch for ages before i realised how to connect to the internet.

the password is not a password at all like i tried for ages -_-

its the WEP key that was on the side of my router (dont know if this is the case with all routers) just type that in and it should connect

I have a WEP thing, a modem access code and lots of other sets of numbers on mine. None of them work :/

You could try pressing the reset button and then re-configuring it with the default password.

"An attempt was made to execute non executable memory"

Comes up with a blue screen everytime I put my Ipod in the USB.

Any ideas?

Why? If it's non-executable, what's the point in trying to execute it??

Sorry, I can't actually help with this. Only thing I'd suggest is try a different USB port/driver?

What sort of blue screen? An error message or the Blue Screen Of Death (that IS it's technological official term if it's what I think you mean)

Hopefully in there un-tick it.

   1. Click the "Tools" menu in the Firefox browser.
  2. Click the "Extensions" menu item.
  3. In the Extensions Manager window scroll until you find the Yahoo! Toolbar extension.
  4. Click the Yahoo! Toolbar extension.
  5. Click "Uninstall".
  6. Click "OK" in the "Uninstall Yahoo! Toolbar" window.
  7. Exit Extensions Manager and restart your browser.

What about that? :dunno:

Or you could give this a go

What is spyware? Do I need it? Is it included in my AVG free? Is there a good free version I can download?
