Ok, a query about Windows Media Player...

I've just gone and bought a 'proper, legal' copy of the Ministry of Sound Chilled II 1991-2009 CD. Problem is when I put any of the 3 discs from the set into WMP it thinks they're a different album entirely: MoS Chilled 1991-2008 (basically version 1).

So, all the track listings are coming up completely wrong. :banghead:

There are loads of tracks I want to rip from the 3 CDs and - being lazy - I'd much prefer not to have to manually edit all the artists/track names etc. Is there any way I can 'teach' WMP which CD it really is, so I can avoid all that malarkey? :fc:

If you right click the album and select Find Album Info it should come up with a pop up window. It will probably find the wrong one again so instead, select Search and then type in the correct version and see what it finds. It may take a little while but you should find it eventually!

Sounds good but when I right click the album, it doesn't come up with a 'Find Album Info' option. :(

Do you mean in WMP, when the album is actually playing? :S

Yeah, sorry should have put that. In Windows Media Player if you select the whole album, right click the option should be there. You can do this in Album view or by selecting all the songs within that album, whichever view you have I guess.

Here is a guide but its a bit of an overkill/long winded!

Thanks for that. I've worked out how to do it but even having trawled through pages of CDs I still can't find the right one listed. Ah well, at least I've leant how it's done.

The real lesson here, is that although music piracy is bad, at least the songs have the right name :P

I knows it... so much for me being 'good' for once. Last time I shall be doing that!:P

How about ripping them to mp3 then use MP3Tag to name the tracks for you. It has a function to search databases for the CD you ripped using the CD ref number. It takes all the pain out of tagging. It will also rename the actual file for you too.

Lovejoy, right click on the RTWC icon on your desktop, choose properties, choose compatability, tick 'run this program in compatability mode', choose windows 98. Bob's your uncle, enjoy the game.

Is there a way to sort it tho?

Try uninstalling the new version, then reinstall the older version that you had the link from, that might work.

Got a Sony Cybershot Digital Camera. Used a Sony Memory Stick Duo Adaptor MSAC-M2 512MB MagicGate memory card for Britney's concert last night.

Now when I put the Memory Stick into the USB Port (using a USB device) into my computer, it doesn't read the memory stick.

Any ideas on how to solve this so that my computer will read it?

It's because the adaptor doesn't work for that size of memory stick. It was a common issue when the then new style of memory stick (M2) were first released by sony as they didn't work with the older adaptors. The best way would be to attach the camera to the PC using the USB cable given in the box with the memory stick in the camera!

I think my graphics are going. Replacing them are expensive, is there anyway I can download a new video card?
