StanSP Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Time for these 2 teams to make their mark on Brazil 2014! Fancy a Bosnia win. 2-0.
Stuliasz Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Bosnia were unfortunate against Argentina in their opener. Nigeria were very poor against Iran, although Odemwingie starts and he looked their brightest spark from the bench in that game. Can't see anything other than a Bosnia win unless Nigeria seriously up their work rate.
Stuliasz Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Goal Odemwingie 1-0. The ref put his whistle to his mouth to blow for a foul in the build up and then changed his mind.
Brooksy Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Just me who thought that was a foul on the Bosnian player in the build up? Commentators and BBC live text saying it was fair.

Wouldn't like to call that, there's not many decisions I don't have an opinion on but on this occasion I can't see an obvious decision. Either way he could of stayed on his feet. EDIT: I'm totally wrong that's a foul

Glad I wasn't the only one to see that. Think he was waiting to see if the lino was gonna flag so he was ready to blow the whistle. More poor officiating with the Dzeko 'goal'. Wasn't even tight.

It's not a foul at all, it's the Bosnian player who tries to play the Nigerian, that is why there was a coming together and because he's not running properly (he's on the turn and not going straight) he comes off the worse. The Nigerian player is totally focused on the ball and does nothing wrong. It's completely the Bosnian's fault for trying to block a player running at full speed instead of attempting to play the ball.

Looked to me like the Nigerian player knew he'd play it too far in front of him so decided to pull the Bosnian player down.

You should watch the replay would be a good take down to add to your Arsenal for your next clock tower appearance.
StanSP Posted 21 June 2014 Author Posted 21 June 2014 Bosnia seem to have run out of ideas now. Getting nothing in the final third.
BoneDog Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Looks like Bosnia are out. I thought they'd get 2nd in this group. Unlucky that the goal was disallowed though when it was 0-0. I can't see why they don't use technology to check things like that especially in big tournaments. It would literally take 10 seconds to check for an offside. Nigeria have looked much better tonight compared to the other night.
Aus Fox Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Really like the look of Emenike, big strong powerful forward, 1st time I have seen him play, but would love to see a player like that here. Anyone know anymore about him?
Stuliasz Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Dzeko really didn't have his shooting boots on tonight, except for the one he scored that was wrongly disallowed of course. So many costly bad decisions in this tournament, both results in this group could have been different.

Anyone know anymore about him? I know signing players after a decent World Cup in general rarely works out never mind one decent performance.
One Legged Beaver Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 I remember him on FIFA 13 ultimate team, unstoppable!
Aus Fox Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 I know signing players after a decent World Cup in general rarely works out never mind one decent performance. Not necessarily saying this player on the back of one performance, but a player with those attributes power pace strength.
