Good day out, beer was a bit pricey in the surrounding pubs but you have to expect that in London. Fans were friendly enough as well

Not on the way out some of them weren't.

"Come on Leicester you facking maslim lavers"

"You facking stink of curry you wa**ers"

You'll always get a minority of inbreds at any ground, no doubt we have a selection of these as well.

Last time I went to Stamford Bridge, we were banned [away fans] because the locals tried to beat the carp out of M'boro in the play offs the previous season.

I never did understand that one.  It was a bit hostile though.

Reminds me of the cup quarter final a couple of years ago.  As fans that like to stand, me and my mate went but had tickets that were front row of upper tier.  After a couple of mins a female steward approached. At the time we obviously thought 'here we go, being told to sit down already!' How wrong we were, she simply said, "Look lads, I know you want to stand up but it's dangerous on the front row, if you go up there (pointing to back of the stand) you'll be much better off."

I thought it was quality, she obviously knew there was a risk of falling into the bottom tier had we scored etc. Instead of insisting we sat, she advised us to move to somewhere we could stand, essentially sending us to an illegal part of the stand as we didn't have a spot up there and the game was a sell out so it wasn't as if we would have had seats.

Top stewarding I thought, very sensitive to the fact that it was a big occasion for us back then.

Tbh I didn't go to this game but found it the same in the Fa cup a couple of seasons ago and the local nandos certainly welcomed us in.

Last season I was very appreciative of the staff at Doncaster and Bolton.

People at both gave excellent customer service and we're very welcoming.

A Bolton steward even let me take my lad toilet through a staff entrance 30 mins before the turnstiles opened as well.

Brighton season before, they were showing lcfc goals and games on the away fan concourse. Nice touches.

Makes a change from cattle class treatment of the mid 80s.

Like you say credit whee credit due.

When I first got to the away end, I thought what an over kill, with the amount of stewards, but they were polite, and didn't notice them during the rest of my time at the bridge, and that's the way it should be, and a lot of clubs could look at how Chelsea manage away fans, not expecting the same welcoming approach at Stoke, last season they barely gave you time to get of the coach before getting in your face for searching

I agree on the warm welcome - a tad corporate maybe but certainly a few nice touches - like the bar staff wearing Leicester shirts - thoughtful. To add to that two things before kick off - a real effort to pronounce our players names properly - not the usual "omg that's the first time I've seen knockaert and I have no idea how to say it" and the mention of Andy King whose connection to Chelsea is now somewhat remote but still rated a mention. As someone who lives in west London, my estimation of CFC went up on Saturday - it's not much of an achievement - but it did.

My day was slightly different! I was appalled to hear racist remarks from Leicester supporters at Stamford bridge on Saturday. I never thought I'd hear that sort of language from Leicester City fans. I have approached Leicester City, Chelsea and the FA this morning. It had taken me a while to come forward but I didn't know whether or not to pursue it but my friends and family insisted that I do.

Doubt anything will be done, as should have been reported to police or stewards at the time of the incident, unless you have video evidence, or if anybody else reported it, and identified the culprits, otherwise it will be classed as hearsay( and that's not the pop group) lol
