You don't get as much diving, because from what I've seen of women's football, it is barely a contact sport, they're never close enough to each other, driving runs, battling 50/50s, wingers shoulder to shoulder with defenders at pace. It's a different game, and aside from the rules, it may as well be a completely separate sport. It is essentially what Netball is to Basketball.
