Collymore Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 The title will make sense at the end, this not an anti NP post. It isn't Nigel who is inconsistent and who is causing problems, it's the fans. We're bottom of the premier league and if you ask any other fan in the country about it, they don't say "I'm really shocked you're bottom of the league because you deserve to be much higher because you're Leicester City." For some reason our fans think we do though! An unbiased common view would be something like: "You're bottom of the league but you seem to have had a few unlucky breaks, but luck will balance itself out by the end of the season. You're certainly no worse than the teams in and around you and a couple of wins would see you shoot up" As for NP, he's the most consistent human being I know. These so called "mistakes" that he's all of a sudden making, both tactically and his poor media relations, have always been there but our fickle fans choose to only let them into their consciousness when we don't pick up results. It isn't Nigel that has suddenly changed this season, it's our fans! Watch this video and imagine the spoon is Nigel Pearson's problems and Neo is a Leicester Fan. It's the only thing I can think of that kind of explains what I'm trying to say!
cc_star Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 There is no spoon indeed. But it's a results business and as far as our ability to get results is concerned we do have a problem in so much as we look useful defending in numbers and breaking with purpose, we look awful when we "take our game to them" and are carved apart at will, being overran in the middle. I'd like to see less of the "taking our game to them" and more of the system we showed today and against Arsenal etc and on days when we're not against world class opposition we'll pick up more points the we have done over the past 10 games of trying and failing to impose our games.

Mike Oxlong Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Glad you're not sticking the knife in and telling him to fork off.
Fox92 Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Is Nigel Pearson a 'bender' then? Nigel is far from that.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Your right, we're just not having a knife time of it lately.
