iancognito Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Richard Smith's winner in about 93. I was in the orange seats and the players totally mobbed him. We hadn't got past the third round for about 8 years but that was another highlight of that season. The whole run to the QFs under O'Neill was amazing too, it was probably what made the dive by their guy all the more annoying because we deserved to get to at least the semis that year.
tylesta Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I love Savage's clearance off the line from Suker. It was a remarkable backs to the wall performance that left Wenger genuinely perplexed as to why his team hadn't managed to score against us in 210 minutes of football. I was just as perplexed in the Spurs game as to how Mark de Vries had managed to score, he really was awful! if I remember correctly wenger (leicester played for penalties) made me laugh as we put matt elliot up front in the game to
Stuntman_Mike Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Dublin's last minute winner at Charlton. Scenes.
surrifox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I remember a very good goal from Arnar Gunnlaugsson against Villa in an unexpected result but otherwise would be the 68/ 69 semi
whoareyaaa Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Dion Dublin header away at Chalrton think it was 07/08, great atmosphere and scenes after that went it.
melrose Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I would have thought that the Shrewsbury quarter final in 82 would deserve a mention with 3 keepers for us and a great comeback!
Master Fox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Reading and Charlton away in 2005? Won both 2-1 with 2 last minute headers! Obviously Spurs home as well. I went to both of those games. The Charlton one edges it for me. Absolute carnage in both stands.
