ivarti Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 Did City play 4-4-2 v. Tottenham with Kramaric and Ulloa together up front, if so, a good system, if it was as Sky Sports says a 4-3-3 I cannot understand why, anyone who knows ?

Dan Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 4-4-1-1 for me. Kramaric is a bit of a shadow striker I think.
AKCJ Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 I'm glad that we've dropped the idea of Ulloa playing in 'the hole'. He affects the game by getting chances because he's comfortably the best finisher we've got (Kramaric could prove better). If he gets even a sniff at goal then he generally takes his chance as yesterday proved. In our rough streak he played with about 30 yards away from goal with his back to it, it wasn't working.
Dan Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 I thought Ulloa was crap yesterday. Generally so slow in his decision making. Could've had more than the one goal. We could've scored more than two yesterday. I don't rate Spurs. They're to be got at.

Worse thing we could do would be win a cup.... cos if we didnt win it the following year everyone would be calling for nige's head
Mjeb Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 Ulloa ,s control in killing the ball dead and scoring was class , watch it back and see for yourself .!!! Let's get back to winning in the league . Up the city , up the league .
Dan Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 His goal was quality so I can forgive the rest of his game but I didn't think he played well at all yesterday.
DB11 Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 Whatever it was, it had Ulloa actually playing up front and not having to drop back so it was more effective
maxwelld_ Posted 26 January 2015 Posted 26 January 2015 We got over run in midfield again. If we don't strengthen midfield in this window we will get relegated .
Ian S Posted 26 January 2015 Posted 26 January 2015 We got over run in midfield again. If we don't strengthen midfield in this window we will get relegated . It's not necessarily the personnel, we are regularly outnumbered and need all our CM's fit as Drinkwater/King combination has never been our strongest. The middle two need assistance from the wide players which has not happened a great deal this season.
