Good lad Weller54, got most of his albums, underrated singer/songwriter...

Newquay Fox.. A CTW fan.. Excellent.. The track 'A Day to myself ' should be aired on every armistice day.. I challenge anyone to listen to it and not shed a tear!!

I'd ask him why we have essentially blown a lot of money on two players, rather than strengthening across the whole squad.

At any level, 17 odd million quid on two signings represents a significant amount of dosh.

We've probably spent more than most of the teams around us, ? On two main players.

For the other areas, we've scratched around for freebies.

Why?

Given a transfer budget, we needed to strengthen certainly at left back and in our midfield.

Some of this season's key decisions, I have not understood.

Pre season being the biggest omission.

We are a Premium club and not short of a few bob. We needed to pay the going rate.

Looks like the owners thought that too and Robinson would appear to be the one to carry the blame or scapegoated. But saying that, they must have signed off his recruitment policy. I suppose though they trusted / succumbed to his experience as an expert

Don't think so? Pearson himself said that Steve Walsh? was the head of recruitment I think. The summer proved to be poor business.

Plain and simple. People are saying you are simply in over your head this season. Why should they believe in you. Not the players but you any further?

IMO the players arer playing their hearts out, but he does not help them with his selections and tatics.

Doh. Lost laptop to son 2nd laptop to missus so now im on my phone. What I meant was that Robinson was in effect Pearson and Walshes boss. He set the parameters to work within,Pearson detemined what he needed, Walsh and his team. Mckenzie etc then scout players that fit the spend budget Robinson put in place and the player type identified by Pearson. Once a player was identified back to Robinson to negotiate the deal. It would appear that byvsackingvRobinson, the owners feel either the spend policy or inability to negotiate deals is what went wrong bin summer
