Basingstoke Fox Posted 9 June 2015 Share Posted 9 June 2015 2nd leg Charlton 0-1 Wolves Roger Johnson was sent off in the 17th minute with a 2nd yellow. McDonald 37 It was a pretty poor game tbh. The red card affected it alot and the laggy connection made it difficult to put together any decent attacking moves. Solly, my right back, the unlikely scorer after a parry from the keeper. Sako scoring after poor defending from me. Didn't catch man of the match. 2nd leg - Charlton 0-1 Wolves McDonald 37 Roger Johnson sent off for charlton 17 mins. MOTM: Price (Wolves) Reckon two stupid yellow cards for Johnson cost me there! Wolves much better in the first half, scoring a good goal and could have had more. Even after going down to 10 men I still had a couple of chances in the second half but couldn't Nick a goal. It could have been at my end, it's hard to say. I definitely agree you shaded the first half of the first game. You closed me down well and I struggled to get my game going. Thought your lead was deserved when it came as you had the better chances. That defender Lefont (or whatever his name is) was an absolute tank in both games! Sometimes you feel that the game is more willing to do what you want & the last game was exactly that for me. I actually thought I was done after the first game because I didn't pay attention to Chrisuki's rules properly for the final. Without the two legs and then the decider, I'd've lost.
