Stockholm Tournament in July

Yes I imagine they are attempting to exploit an 'angle' to extract a few more crowns from the rich English who can't be bothered to go to laterooms.com . You have to ask yourself whether you fit their profile. As I'm sure you don't they've clearly ignored your request whereas mine attracted a little interest therefore provoking a response. I'd call myself a champion of cynicism but I'm not sure if Daggers is still on here as next to him I live to learn.

I don't know if they're doing it on purpose or not - all they state is that T. Ehrling is in charge of ticket reservations for visitors from outside Sweden.

They're supposed to serve all requests, regardless of caste background and they do not classify. Not yet.

So that's why I'm a little bedazzled as to why they're so slow in responding.

EDIT: Oh well, they still got about three to four weeks to get back to me... giggle.gif

The 4-star hotel they're "promoting" is also featured on the website - included in the 490 Euro matchday package - yes, that's 490 Euros per day.

I bet the hotel accomodation alone is 200 to 250 Euros per night.

lol , buy a tent instead and go out in the nature and pick up some healthy mushrooms. Use the swedish "allemansrätten". The public right - freedom to roam. lol

Accomodation's been taken care of for quite a while now. But thanks. thumbsup.gif

I'm more puzzled by the lack of professionalism from the organisation.

No response in weeks.

Website's not been updated in weeks.

In general, flow of information's very poor - except for gazzer's case, he must've come up with the right bribes goods.

I'm sure we'll be able to pay on the door, but it's a fair way to go without knowing for sure...

Hi Gary,

Each ticket will cost 190 SEK and to make it easier for you, I will write the price for one tickets in pound for you, 19,45 pound and for two it will be 38,89 pound.

I will put away tickets to the matches to you, and the tickets will be picked up at the hotel First Hotel Amaranten.

Then there will be envelopes in your name where the tickets are in and as you solve out by way of cash on the spot.

If you perhaps don’t have booked any hotels and feel that you will have some help, I can look up few hotels opportunities for you if you like!

Because we have one official hotel that we can get a better price.

Med vänliga hälsningar/Best regards

considering he is responsible for overseas fans, he must have the worst english of any man in sweden...

Looking bleak for me, it might as well be held in addis ababa for the amount it will cost me in time and money... unless anyone is driving from oslo?

Why the hell have games on a friday and monday?

What's the direct train from Oslo to Stockholm like? I heard it's as cheap as 300 Krona (£30) for a 6 1/2 hour stretch one way.

yeah more or less, trouble is though, i'd have to take time off work and pay for a hotel and food, i did some basic maths on it and it came out to a few hundred to stay til sunday, and i have four other trips coming up over the next four months.

i reckon my money is better spent coming to see the first two home games. i can go to sweden anytime i guess....

Reports that this tournament has gone tits up.

Might be something for people who have booked flights to look into

Talking Balls

It wouldn't surprise me if this was true - after my previous experience with the people alleged to be running the tournament.

I guess there's no one to talk to because there's no one to talk to any longer.

The whole sports management company that is behind the SFT must be in troubles.

IF this news is genuine, yes, I'd be very disappointed if I had to cancel my arrangements.angry.gif

It is now clear that Hammarby will have an alien at home on South Stadium this summer.

Mallorca with the old big player Michael Laudrup as coach will be against Hammarby in the mini tournament Stockholm Football Trophy.

While Sven-GoranEriksson's Leicester City participates in the tournament.

It has flourished rumors for a long time but now it's clear. Leicester City and RCD Mallorca in the club's training camp in Sweden, to participate in the mini tournament Stockholm Football trophy.

A tournament that medarrangerar Hammarby at SöderStadion. On 13 July at 19 will be Hammarby v RCD Mallorca, and the same time July 14 meet RCD Mallorca and Leicester City.

Both matches are played at SouthStadium, and tickets to the games can be purchased from next Monday in the Support Shop at Hornsgatan 98 and the Globe's ticket counters.

The price for season passholders is 120 dollars and for the other 190 dollars. Uploading front of the old movieclassic Sällskapsresan recommended.

The alarm bells started ringing when it appeared we were interested in a tournament taking place in Austria.

I hope we still hold our agreement with Sirius IK. Big boost to them this game.

Andrew Neville spoke about "the three games in Sweden" and "another two that are being arranged in Austria" during the RL call-in on Monday so it doesn't appear that he knew then of any problem with the Swedish games.

I've also messaged Hammarby IF about it - it's a public holiday in Sweden today, so I expect them to get back to me by the start of next week.

Confident this will still go ahead.

If that is the case then that is irritating. I'm there from the 15th until the evening of the 18h, so I can't make any matches. Ah well.

Even worse for you now. The public practice session has been moved to the Friday according to the tournament site

I land at about 9am on the Friday so hopefully that should be alright!

Just made a second and final change to my flights, now arriving on the 13th, leaving on the 20th.

They better not change things around again or I'll be seriously pissed off!
