Does anyone know how the lad is?

I've read a few threads but cant see anything about him. Not good to see someone stretchered off with no attempt to get up.

horrible challenge and hope the cnut gets more than a 3 match ban. And he had the balls to have a go at the ref about it!

I didnt go to the match but it sounded bad on the old wireless..

He was playing pool at Rileys last night with Alnwick - he won't be able to do that little habit for much longer if he's injured big time.

On an aside, Steve Walsh did apply for the Leicester job after Megson left, didn't have the required badges. I was speaking to his son last night in Life

Holloway also revealed that both Richard Stearman and Joe Mattock were both back up on their feet having left the game through injury.

A quiet game of pool before a game? Probably the best thing you can do!

What the hell do you expect? Bed at 9 with a cup of Horlicks and slippers?

He's a 20yr old lad for goodness sake, get a grip you idiot.

 Having a game of pool?

Cut the lad some slack, if he was heavily drinking, i can understand peoples concerns, but if he was just having a few games of pool, then hardly a bug deal is it?

Don't worry... Im behind the lad. Especially at his age, he should be enjoying himself.

I thought you meant he was out on the piss, if not then I take back what I said.

Playing pool pissed could have disasterous consequences...

Sitting half way up H block I looked straight down on the Russel challenge on Stearman

One of the nastiest, most cowardly challenges I've seen in a long time.

I believe as the ref took action they can't lengthen the ban but it was the sort that if went to a video hearing would get longer bans

Horrific.

Hopefully it's not too bad for the lad.

He has improved big time over the last few months and he does a solid job for us and I hope the injury doesn't keep him out for too long.

Im glad you took back what you said...a game of pool at 20 years old seems quite calm an event before a game.......the lad gives his all to city and a lot more.....often doesn't get enough credit.

Hope his injury today is not too bad

Hope he isn't out for too long or it could see him returning to the form that we all were bemoaning before... he was really improving over the last few weeks which was a breath of fresh air after some of the cr*p which has been kicked out by some of the players recently.

I hope he is not seriously injured but I preferred it when James Chambers was playing at RB :ermm:

Did you see how often he got up the wing, over lapping Hume etc. Was great to watch!

Aye but Norwich had just about given up any thoughts of winning by then.

Apparently he was on his feet after the game, so it's not as serious as it sounded at first.

Yeah i think hes ok, i read another post on here yesterday night that some said he came and sat on the bench a short time after he was taken off.

But i couldnt see from where i was sitting.

In the post match press conference Ollie said that Stears was walking very gingerly, and that they'll know more next week.

If that challenge had happened in the Premiership, we'd never hear the end of it. Just compare it to that red card challenge in the Man U Arsenal game yesterday and look at the reaction to that. No worse than handbags that one.

From where I was sitting, Stearman hobbled out onto the bench for the final minutes of the game, without crutches. So hopefully, this shouldn't affect his pool stance around the table too much. :D
