Teeno Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 Gary Mcallister, Phil Thompson, Glen Hoddle, Bryan Robson, Bobby Robson, Graham Taylor, Brian Little, John Gregory, Dave Bassett, Mike Newell, Gary Johnson, Steve Walsh, George Graham, Alan Cork, Dion Dublin, Martin Keown, Mark Maher. Take your pick, or can you think of anyone else?
Ric Flair Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 George Graham please. Got a feeling it might be Vialli
Carlo Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 I have heard a whisper that Trevor francis will be the new boss!!!!!!!!!
Cobbo Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 I have heard a whisper that Trevor francis will be the new boss!!!!!!!!! 25619 I hope your whisper's are as reliable as Dabizas' defending.
Ricey Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 I have heard a whisper that Trevor francis will be the new boss!!!!!!!!! 25619 How has this 'whisper' been formed? The board have only heard today Micky is leaving so they won't have even talked about replacements <_<
Micky Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 I have heard a whisper that Trevor francis will be the new boss!!!!!!!!! 25619 How has this 'whisper' been formed? The board have only heard today Micky is leaving so they won't have even talked about replacements <_< 25622 They have talked about it and its likely to be a lower league manager!

dhermon Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 they have already had a week to talk about it so no i dont think its to early we also need a number 2 and a gk coach as well
gjp Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 Newell please. Someone mentioned that Keown has got some coaching badges anyone know anything about this as knowing how city like to save money it may be an option .
King Kyle lcfc Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 i mentioned trevor Francis on one of the other topics about new managers. But i was taking the Piss. I'd like to see either George Graham to sure up the defense or bryan robson. Some daft twat was just goingon about how he wants Gazza here .

Scow Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 Gary Mcallister, Phil Thompson, Glen Hoddle, Bryan Robson, Bobby Robson, Graham Taylor, Brian Little, John Gregory, Dave Bassett, Mike Newell, Gary Johnson, Steve Walsh, George Graham, Alan Cork, Dion Dublin, Martin Keown, Mark Maher.Take your pick, or can you think of anyone else? 25608 Yes please. Bobby Robson - No chance of getting him though. Gary Mcallister - Didn't do much of a job at Coventry, but he had to work with a very limited squad. Phil Thompson - 10 games as Liverpool's first team manager in the absence of Houllier, not enough experience. Glenn Hoddle - Poor man management skills. Bryan Robson - Lots of money to spend at Boro, even managed to get them relegated. Graham Taylor - Brian Little - Wouldn't be the worst appointment in the world. Forgetting the fact he walked out on us, he did an amazing job here. John Gregory - No, no, no - Nearly destroyed the sheep. Baaaaaaaaaaa Dave Bassett - No thanks, we need fresh ideas. Mike Newell - Not convinced me, not enough experience. Gary Johnson - Excellent job at Yeovil, has an annoyingly sqeaky voice though. Steve Walsh - Lack of experience, and doesn't exactly strike me as managerial material. George Graham - Not been in management for a long time, maybe too defensive orientated? Alan Cork - See Bassett Dion Dublin - Martin Keown -
desert fox Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 I'm sure whoever gets the job, most people will be moaning about the selection. Hooray Mickys gone, oh @#%* we replaced him with that old retread (or damn not that unproved lower division manager). I think we should be able to attract the best available person for the job because we have the players to get promoted this season which would put the next manager in the Premiership next year. But I'm afraid the board will opt to go cheap and bring in a less experienced person from the first or second division. My prediction is Mike Newell.
Ric Flair Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 Gian Luca Vialli - I would welcome him here, even though he had a nightmare at Watford. Glen Roeder - Did ok'ish at West Ham, will no doubt be linked. Gerrard Houllier - Wouldn't come Danny Wilson - Got a nasty feeling he'll be linked, hope not. David Pleat - You can bollocks! Trevor Francis - Experienced, but not my scene. Jean Tigana - I would love to see him here, not much chance of it though. Martin Allen - Done well with Barnet and Brentford, too in-experienced though. Chris Kamara - Loves us, but no thanks. Kevin Black - Harshly treated at Cov, they loved him. Craig Levein - Cracking manager at Hearts, probably wouldn't come though.
Mark Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 Mike Newell please. But will he leave Luton who are already 12 points clear of division 2? I dont thik so. Martin Allen is a good up and coming manager at Brentford, he's transformed them from a team struggling losing every game into a top half team in 6 months. Gordan Strachan would be my number 1
Ric Flair Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 Howard Wilkinson. Sorry, but someone had to mention it. God no.
Scow Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 Howard Wilkinson.Sorry, but someone had to mention it. God no. 25656 That's just ruined my afternoon.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 You know its going to be someone that wont be mentioned Wise might send Ray Wilkins in undercover to ruin the club again.
Scow Posted 11 October 2004 Posted 11 October 2004 Dave Penny, Doncaster manager. Two promotions in two consecutive seasons with barely any money spent..... A certain Martin O'Neill did that with Wycombe.
