Recommended Posts

Gian Luca Vialli - I would welcome him here, even though he had a nightmare at Watford.

Glen Roeder - Did ok'ish at West Ham, will no doubt be linked.

Gerrard Houllier - Wouldn't come

Danny Wilson - Got a nasty feeling he'll be linked, hope not.

David Pleat - You can bollocks!

Trevor Francis - Experienced, but not my scene.

Jean Tigana - I would love to see him here, not much chance of it though.

Martin Allen - Done well with Barnet and Brentford, too in-experienced though.

Chris Kamara - Loves us, but no thanks.

Kevin Black - Harshly treated at Cov, they loved him.

Craig Levein - Cracking manager at Hearts, probably wouldn't come though.

Dave Penny, Doncaster manager.

Two promotions in two consecutive seasons with barely any money spent.....

A certain Martin O'Neill did that with Wycombe.

Former Newcastle United boss Sir Bobby Robson says he wants a return to management - but on his terms.

Robson said: "I want the right job for me. I still have the hunger. The game is an extension of my life. I can't wait to get back into it.

"I have been fine since I've been away but of course I've missed it. There's nothing else I can do. I have had to get on with my life but football is my life."

We want Bobby he is a legend! He done all he could for Newcastle but he could make us play football.

Out of all the top experienced managers available, Robson would be the only one I reckon who would take a chance with us. I think he fancies one last real challenge, getting us up and making us a stable premiership team again. He could do that in 2 or 3 years, which he has stated he still has left in him as a manager.

I'd gor for a VIP management team of:

Sir Bobby Robson

Sir Clive Woodward and

Alan Birchanell (MBE)

Very sound idea. :) :w00t: However I might drop the Birch and leave him to do the MCing. ;)

Only now and again. Infact very little but its usually pretty good stuff. We apparently favour promising managers from the lower league.

Not a chance! He's got a great set up at Wigan with a chairman with money and ambition and a great team that is sure to finish in the top 6 at least.
