Why are we incapable of winning at the Walkers?

I don't get it either, we are just so shite at home and since we're been at the walkers. Been only one real season when we would win most weeks.

Because have nobody of any quality who can break down a team who stick 10 men behind the ball

You don't need quality to win most your home games. You need fight and passion and a crowd behind you. Look at S****hrope or Colchester they make their home grounds hard places to go to ... The walkers is like a dream for most Championship players.

Why we missed Filbert St so much.

It wasn't a dream for teams in our promotion season

Quite right and that season we had Muzzy Izzet in midfield. The reason we can't win is because our players aren't very good.

Then why do the likes of S****hrope and Colchester have good home records then ? We have no fight and you do need quality aswell but at home you gotta make life hard ashell for the away team and we simply don't do that.

But people don't go to S****horpe and stick 10 behind the ball, we're quite a big team in terms of the championship and a lot of teams come to get a point and try and grab a goal on the break.

The players seem to play with fear at home, there really is a lack of confidence on the ball (maybe that should say lack of quality). It always seems to be an uncomfortable atmosphere to play in, the players have brought that on themselves though.

What a huge sack of shit. We're not a " big team " in terms of the Championship at all. We're becoming a nothing club at the minute. We've been awful for the last few seasons and been mediocre at best. A so-called " big club " wouldn't have done what we've done over the last few years. As I tried saying in a post which was deleted earlier, we have to earn everything, and we're only getting what we deserve.

Well that must be why we're buggered.

You quite obviously wasn't at any of these games.

Colchester especially was like a library.

We're not a very good team but we're still one of the bigger clubs in the championship. We've got one of the biggest grounds, a decent history and a good fan base and when teams like Burnley, Blackpool, Hull, S****horpe etc. turn up they play for a draw and we can't break them down.

We're a big club in terms of ground size when compared with the rest of this division but that's about all at the minute. History counts for nothing really when the players of today step out onto the pitch. If we were a big team in the Championship, we'd be able to break these sides down and grind the results out. We haven't been able to grind these results out for a while now. We're a mediocre club now.

Yeh, I agree for any team looking to finish in the top half, most home games against everyone in the bottom half should be a banker even if they do have to grind the results out. From our home games against teams in the teams in the bottom half we've taken 1 point from a possible 12.

we're so predictable, i won another bet on us today....bet that we'd lose 1-0 and gray would score....i do it to soften the blow when we lose but we're so predictable! i must say i dont think its a shock that we play well against chelsea (when the players motivate themsleves) and lose to the likes of burnley 1-0 at home...its been happening for seasons....charlton in the cup....tottenham in the cup....our players just seem to play when there's seemingly no chance we should win.

this must surely come down to management....the right man gets the team to grind out 1-0's against teams like burnley and can motivate them to perform in less glamorous games. from what i've seen the players play like they are on auto-pilot....like they just go out and think "right the manual says if i kick this as far as i can it might look like we're attacking" ...hoof.

i think we need a manager in who's got experience as Levein, Kelly and taggs/burrows arent demanding any improvement.

i cant stand these long balls we try down the channels yet they never do anything... i cant name one decent winger we have at this club, yet i thoght porter could get a decent run in but his injury has come at the wrong time... is hayes currently injured?

Hayes has been injured for a while, but I think he's nearing his return.
