Daggers Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Leeds 0-2 OldhamWinger Chris Taylor struck two second-half goals to give Oldham Athletic victory at Elland Road for the second successive season. Long may it continue!
Corky Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Very enjoyable result. After reading all the comments on various forums saying the title was already at Elland Road, it's great to see the egos at that club come down a bit.

Corky Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Could apply the same to ourselves. Possibly, but I'm sure most of our fans realise how tough this league is. Leeds fans seem to think, genuinely, that the rest of the league are there to make up the numbers. The other clubs will want to see Leeds fail a lot more than us.

I don't think our fanbase does - tune into the Moan in tomorrow and I'll bet you there'll be the evidence on air. Leeds are more justified than us to believe the hype - they achieved promotion last season but for the deduction and with "a better manager" and an "improved squad" (WACCOE words, not mine) should expect to do exactly the same...which is what makes the schadenfreude even funnier.

Can we really take those on the Moan-In seriously? It's a tough one. I like Gary Mac a lot, great bloke, but I can't stand the Leeds supporters.

Maybes Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 . Oldham are no mugs. I wanted to laugh at some Leeds fans at the service station, so I did. On a side note, I saw a Fulham fan yesterday. Yes thats right a REAL Fulham, they do actually exist. Suprised to say the least.

Father Ted Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Nope. I.C. 1 White Male. Slight gut on him. Wow, a typical armchair fan. Surprised he wasn't at home with a beer in his hand watching Man U play on SkySports...
Maybes Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 Wow, a typical armchair fan.Surprised he wasn't at home with a beer in his hand watching Man U play on SkySports... To be fair, I respect him for attending a Fulham away game, someone has to I guess. BIG UP!

Bryn Posted 17 August 2008 Posted 17 August 2008 I'm the only one that thinks a draw would have been more satisfactory?
Big Bad Fox Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 haha.. after watching them lose 2 -1 .. i can honestly say that their squad is no where near the level that we are even Beckford amd Becchio were useless... they honestly brought flashbacks of Danny Cademateri my opinion they're not big enough to go up

Stevosevic Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 I'll only laugh if we follow it up with a win.
Corky Posted 15 November 2008 Posted 15 November 2008 I'll only laugh if we follow it up with a win. You're not laughing then?
Daggers Posted 10 January 2009 Author Posted 10 January 2009 A large part of the problem can be summed up by Michalik's truly embarassing defending from Bridges' goal. Allied to that, Sheehan was f***ing shocking. Sheehan is f***ing shit .I can't wait till White is back. waccoe
