lookwhaticando Posted 20 January 2009 Posted 20 January 2009 Leeds: 18 points behind the Leaders. 19 points ahead of 21st. I'm hoping the end the season somewhere equidistant from both the play-off places and the relegation places. Absolute mediocrity in League One is where they should be gunning for.
Fosse Boy Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Pillocks Some of that's actually pretty complimentary! This is going to be our season we win the league 1 title even tho Leicester City are a big club as well also challenging for it they won't be no match for us cause we are the mighty Leeds United.Leicester, Leicester who? At least they're admitting we're a big club, even if they're claiming that they are too!
Lovejoy Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Pillocks What complete and utter morons . Biggest club in the league yes, but how the fork do they expect to seriously win the title ?
Guest Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 What's even better is the group on the right titled - I bet I can find 1,000,000 people who like Leeds Utd
Craig Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 What complete and utter morons . Biggest club in the league yes, but how the fork do they expect to seriously win the title ? In fairness, that was at the start of the season. This, however....
MC Prussian Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Pillocks You can still send M.R. Flesher a couple of straightforward messages, if you like! The group itself - so very Leeds. Desperate and desperate for words to describe that said desperation.
lavrentis Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Leeds fans think we are going to get -15. GOOD ONE. http://www.waccoe.com/index.php?showtopic=150618
GLC Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Don't worry about them -15 coming to them........League One leaders Leicester have announced a record loss of £14.2million for the financial year that ended on May 31, 2008. The club blamed the huge deficit on 'significant' spending on the playing squad as their bid to gain promotion to the Premier League turned into relegation to the third tier for the first time in their history. Chief executive Lee Hoos said: "As the club announced in March last year, those losses were expected for the 2007/08 season. "This is a result of significant spending in the playing squad during a period in which our income levels remained fairly stable. "Since our relegation to League One the club has significantly reduced its cost base in line with the associated reductions in income. "Our aim for this season was to gain promotion back to the Championship and we are currently in an excellent position to achieve that goal." It must be a lot worse by now! T.W.A.T.!!
Lillehamring Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Leeds fans think we are going to get -15. GOOD ONE.http://www.waccoe.com/index.php?showtopic=150618 hmmm, that was a worryingly rational thread by their standards. except for the -15 muppet - like, MM would let us go into administration when he owns 75%+ of the club....
MC Prussian Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Leeds fans think we are going to get -15. GOOD ONE.http://www.waccoe.com/index.php?showtopic=150618 Either they can't or don't want to consider the fact that these numbers concern last season and that the club management is working on it. It's a different situation altogether compared to what Leeds did to deserve their points deduction. Jealous, clueless numpties.
Phube Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Edited to say that manderic has poored loads of money into leicester to cover any losses. Intended pun... I think not!!
Tilley Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 -15 points? They wish. We'd still be above them anyway.
GLC Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 now without this prolific scorer Striker Malcolm Christie has left League One side Leeds United. The 29-year-old had been registered at Elland Road since October after he impressed former boss Gary McAllister during a rehabilitation spell. The former Middlesbrough and Derby front man made his debut against Northampton in the FA Cup in November, playing on a non-contract basis. He made five appearances for Leeds, scoring one goal, which came in the 3-1 win at Stockport in December.
