Sven is feeling the pressure.

with him saying he is happy with the way we played and the result baffles me. he has realized he cannot keep saying "we played poor" "we are not keeping the ball" because its been like that since the start of the season and back end of last season.

Poor and it cant go on much longer. 8 points behind Brighton, our saving grace here is we are playing them next week. anything other than a win, and imo Sven could well be on his way, of which i would have no objections.

but i hope to dear god we win next week!

Come On Leicester!!!

If we don't start playing 4-4-2 we will keep winning one, drawing one and losing one. If we don't beat them next week I really think a couple more shit result after that and he could be out.

Sven is an ignorant guy.

Seen him on the team coach at traffic lights in Leicester.

Put my thumb up and he blanked me and pretended that he didn't see me.... He didn't look happy tbh

Win next week it's 7pts from 9. Everyone needs to chill a bit here. 1-1 at Barnsley isnt the end of the world. What's important is we didn't lose.

This is true, but my worry isn't about the last couple of games, it's the trend that's been pretty much consistent since the end of the Jan transfer window, particularly the shambles in our defence more often than not. I mentioned 1 in 8 clean sheets in another thread. I would doubt many of our fans woulld imagine that Cardiff (twic), Boro and Brighton (what price CMS) won't score against us defending as we are now - so 1 shutout in 12 a realistic possibility - that's simply not good enough with the money he has spent. Whether it's management or coaching, something isn't working and hasn't been for quite some time.

Said it time and time again... Svens post match interviews are the dullest ones I've ever heard. So bad they are almost embarrassing. I don't think it's about his English because he's fluent.. He just comes across as not willing to really discuss anything very much.. So much so that you could predict what will be said

...and I've responded time and time again but just in case you missed it:-

You never heard Pearson's then.

He may not talk in an excitable manner but he gives out more info and answers more questions than many of our previous and most current managers.

Manager's rarely if every discuss anything much after games unless they're feeling aggrieved about a refereeing decision and then it's because they've lost their cool.

Davie, it's the usual tripe that gets spouted all the time when people start looking for things to take a pop at the manager about.

He didn't wave at me, he's boring blah blah blah.

So much for not even wanting to acknowledge a fan who has just scraped the good part of £70 to go watch them yesterday.

Oh and I'm not having a pop at him, I back him 100%, just thought it was a bit ignorant..

Crap really... Always used to say exactly the same thing when I listened to svens interviews for England. So it's not a new thing nor a weapon to use against him now..

He's more a politician than anything else... Says nothing of any meaning in my opinion.. Sorry Dave just don't agree with you and Babs, I expect more of you than just a cheap shot...

You said you saw him in Leicester, how does he know you're going to watch them? Maybe he was lost in thought, maybe he didn't see you, maybe getting all angry because he didn't blow you a kiss is a waste of time and energy.

I expect more of you than just a cheap shot...

Exactly what I was thinking.

It wasn't a cheap shot, you admitted you've repeated it many times so I repeated my response. When you post stuff like that do you not expect a response or do you expect everyone to agree just because you've said so.

He's more of a politician? aren't all managers in many fields of expertise, do you not listen to other managers?

Why even bring this up, how is it relevant to the topic which is about him feeling the pressure of the current situation when you say he's always like this. You're the one having a cheap shot only it's at Sven.

Just another case of a poster putting words into the manager's mouth to fit their own argument.

SGE said "we should be rather happy with a point", which is true.

I haven't seen the entire interview yet, but Sven didn't look too happy himself.

I wasn't accusing you of having a cheap shot.. Read the post. As for Svens interview, yesterday sounded even more rubbish than usual.. Lots of hesitation, denial.. Struck me of a man under pressure, which is the subject of this thread?

Err that sounds like you were to me or perhaps you can explain why the comment is even there?

In that first quote you don't even mention yesterdays game.

Now that you've commented on the difference between his normal 'dull' interviews and yesterday's output then yes there is a relevance but there wasn't in your original post and to use your words it came across as a cheap irrelevant shot.

Maybe he really didn't see you, and whoever looks happy sitting at traffic lights? Either that or your so ugly you almost blinded him
