Taking his above comments into account, Remi was clearly good enough & clearly would of got plenty of minutes so putting 2 + 2 together about the “takes things too seriously” comment, it sounds like a personality clash or something. Remi was just about the only player in the squad with WSL experience and was more of a senior pro so I’m assuming she was trying to drive the standards up and probably wasn’t involved in the squad socialising much. After a tough slog like tonight, and a majority of our starting XI playing the full 90, Leeds are one of the worst sides we could play in terms of high energy, getting in your face, pressing. Hopefully we can pick them apart like we did last season because they are pretty makeshift at the moment and looked awful against Norwich! Must not give them the first or an early goal, AGAIN. Sick of saying this every week

They signed 8 players in the summer and only Sigsworth & McManus you would say are 'older experienced pros'. A majority of the others have WSL experience but are all relatively young so does his recruitment need looking at / questioning? They got promoted with a young, unexperienced squad and just seemed to add to that profile.

Under (I think) played it short to Tielemans, we took it quickly as it was literally last kick of the game wasn't it and they completely switched off!

The only recent time I can marginally think of us of being half decent at set pieces is when Albrighton started taking them against last season. Can think of Amartey scoring away at Brighton & Kelechi at home to Man Utd in the FA Cup.

First goal is massive in this one, if we get it, I think we run out comfortable winners. Press them like we did against United & hopefully the crowd get on top of their inexperienced side like we did to Maguire. Tierney and White are doubtful (I believe) so realistically we could be looking at a back 4 of Tomiyasu, Chambers, Gabriel, Tavares which we should be getting at all day long!

Wanted to give a shout out to Mendy for his cameo last night. Wasn't vintage, but to be bombed from both the Premier League & Europa League squad after being so important last season and still come on and do a job for us is a credit to his attitude & professionalism.

He seemed to tire and lack that bit of quality, especially towards the end but I loved VDC chucking his weight around early doors Fair play to him

Really like what I’ve seen last couple of weeks. Clinical finishing, unselfishness in front of goal, tireless work rate, blistering pace, great timing of runs, elite celebrations and tonight there was even 2 calm, intelligent pick outs on a plate for DKH & Barnes. He has a lot more to his game than I expected, hopefully he can keep it up!

Lookman linked up well with Barnes and was good on the half turn, would like to see him in the Maddison role at some point with the rest of our usual starting XI

Hammered him early doors but I’ve seen nothing since that’s convinced me to change my mind. For the people defending him with ‘he’s had no pre season’ or ‘he’s been injured’ are trying to defend the indefensible. He just cannot even get the basics right, for his size, he mistimes so many headers, he’s weak as anything, gets beaten / dribbled past so easily and goes diving in so many times he’s a massive liability.

Ridiculous to think, if all fully fit, we could field a back 5 of Ricardo, Fofana, Evans, Soyuncu, Castagne & have a back up of Justin, Amartey, Vestegaard, Bertrand, Thomas. That’s incredible depth!

Said this early on in the thread so was delighted to see him driving forwards for Daka's 4th in the week! Hopefully the coaching staff are encouraging him to do this more because with his strength and power he will be unstoppable.
