  1. Rodgers always talks about mentality so let’s see what they’ve got then because after tonight I’m concerned. Lose this and the seasons done
  2. Early days but looked so much quicker, sharper & explosive than when Ricardo first returned 🙏🏻🙏🏻
  3. You could see 5 minutes into his debut vs Wolves this was a disaster, Adama drifted past him 3 times like he wasn’t there. Unless the ball is at his feet he’s completely hopeless at everything a defender should be good at & even with the ball at his feet he’s cost us a goal this evening. Doesn’t win any headers, no pace, no positional awareness, weak as anything, he’s a joke & I know for a fact the rest of the team think he’s garbage too
  4. Hilarious he’s even stalling on signing a new deal, where does he think he can go? because it certainly isn’t any higher than us. Get him gone in the summer whilst we can get some form of fee. Erratic, irrational and braindead, has been for months! He’s let us down when we’ve needed him to step up the most …..
  5. What's the crack with Amartey this evening? What needs to happen so he's back for Brighton on Sunday?
  6. Hindsight is a beautiful thing but we had Daniel Amartey sitting on the bench that day but decided to weaken 2 positions by moving Ndidi to centre back and Mendy into midfield
  7. The under 23's play Brighton (H) on Monday, do we think he's more likely to get more minutes in that if its on?
  8. As others have said already, our fixture pile up and schedule later on down the line is going to be ridiculous. The only positive, is that the players we would have undoubtedly rushed back (Daka, Soyuncu) will get more recovery time before Spurs and in theory, we should be closer to our full strength squad when the fixture pile up will be.
  9. Wood is a streaky player, was it 6 goals in his first 3 games here? Wouldn’t shock me if he got a hattrick against Watford on Saturday
  10. Jay Rodriguez (1 goal in his last 2 seasons) is what's worrying me
  11. Chris Wood & Kieran Trippier share the same agent, what a blinder he's played this January "Oh you're looking for a striker? Chris Wood at Burnley has a release clause" ..........
  12. He deffo isn't signing a new deal
  13. Surely Thomas, KDH, Castagne & Soumare will be back for this one? (14 "First Team Players") Potentially Daka & Soyuncu too.
  14. Stats like that look good on paper but he was dragged all over the place again today, every-time they attacked him, they skipped round him with ease and a better / more potent attack would have put us to the sword. Choudhury’s pace got him out of bother on a lot of occasions.
  15. What’s Molla Wague up to?
  16. Pro's & con's to that. Whilst it will be good for the lads to have the experience & opportunity, they then become part of "First Team Squad" (as they will be given a squad number etc.) meaning should we have any further COVID cases, we have a bigger pool of "First Team" players reducing our chances of a postponement. Just fold the season
  17. Surprised nobody has mentioned George Taft yet
  18. Just seems to be set back after set back doesn’t it. Until he’s played a couple of Under 23 games I can’t see him featuring for the first team. As long as we can keep Castagne & Thomas fit I’m happy to not rush him back like we did with Ricardo because he’s had nothing but niggles ever since. I’ve pretty much wrote this season off for him in the hope he can get a full & proper pre season in and come back firing next season. Any feature before would be a bonus but as we’ve seen with Ricardo it takes time to get back up to speed.
  19. The scary thing about that list is I can only think of Daka & Soyuncu who are anywhere close to returning. I’m worried we’ll end up rushing them back and breaking them too!
  20. Broken leg? Play on….. Whole Physio department need sacking
  21. Can’t see anything less than being hit for 5
  22. Says it all when a player of his age & experienced is required to do a mini pre season in the middle of a season to get fit again. The bloke is a liability.
  23. Not sure what a new manager can come in and do when there’s nobody in the squad with any pace, any creativity or let’s be honest any technical ability - they can’t put 3 passes together. Credit to how well they’ve defended at times, especially against sides as good as Chelsea and Arsenal but they just can’t get out, hold the ball or score goals. The game vs Birmingham next weekend is huge along with the upcoming transfer window, our willingness to invest could be the difference maker.
  24. His energy was huge today when we had to move Ndidi into the defence. Ive stuck up for him in recent weeks because he’s brave, he tries to take the game by the scruff of the neck when more established and higher profile players have gone hiding and he’s always showing and looking to move the ball forwards, so I’m patient when not all of his passes come off. He’a got a refreshing bit of bite too, took no sh*t from Ashley Young last week and grabbed / blocked Callum Wilson from pressing right from kick off today.
  25. Biggest stadium in the championship
