Probably being ignorant here but has another prem /Championship side invested as much in thier academy as we have in Seagrave? Our Children's Children will thank Top et al for that. That's absolutely fantastic long-termism for me, never mind if we mess up on the lottery of player purchasing, that is a lottery we won 3 times with Mahrez Vardy and Kante, we can't always find those players. But Seagrave may produce them year after year. I hope.

Think we've sold lots of the young talent really well tbh for years. Just to Chelsea alone we've sold brilliantly. There's 43 other teams in the Championship and Prem, what they do affects us, to me it's very blinkered thinking all this Rudkins to blame Tops to blame Susan's messed it up, when we were picking up 60 points people ask the same questions no praise for the board, it's why aren't we picking up 61 and qualifying for Champions league. Im just happy we're back in the prem, I'll try and enjoy it, if we go down then it's a new challenge next year, maybe see more of Alves and Braybrooke. Ultimately we'll be there or there abouts, but if we're not it's OK. We'll come back another time.

Hang on we had a project. With Enzo that was a good idea it "worked" won the league etc, it's not boards fault that Enzo left, or that the project died. What are they supposed to do make up a new project in a month? Can't imagine that'd be very good. Then throw in the variable of an unknown points deduction, how do you plan around that? Now we've had to scrabble about to make a team capable of staying up, we haven't got the luxury of forming a project that's more elaborate than survival have we? I don't know what people want, a statement of "we're aiming for Europe" and a 100mil war chest? Doubt we've got a good credit rating with the points deduction, who'd lend us 100mil? Would we even be allowed to borrow it? I really doubt it.

Soumare wasn't rubbish, don't know why people chat like this, was no better or worse than Winks or Ndidi. Played 2 or 3 good switches. Ndidi got on the end of a cross that was close. Not a lot happened, it was very much a low intensity training match.

When the scouts categorise players he probably sits across multiple roles and positions, or more so maybe because of his age, he's someone who could become x,y or z. Think that's why we bought him. I remember when he came here he was really young, young in life experience, been living at home quite sheltered it seemed like to me. Don't think he was particularly happy, but he'll have got a load of confidence from Seville, he was a big part of keeping them up fans loved him. Jesus Navas, Ocampos and him had good chemistry on the right, he linked it all up nicely. Soumare had a young very combative DM next to him (Agoume). He did most of the defending. So it would have to be Soumare and Hamza. Rather than Soumare and Winks. In conclusion: 😂Bouba would need someone more defensive next to him to get the best out of him, *but not entirely sure what the best of him is...

For Seville, i watched a good few of thier games last seaon, if you look at highlights from the big games (Real Madrid especially)I think he's uusing his frame and weight a lot better than when he was with us. He seems less like shy. Make powerful runs and plays those snappy direct forward passes, winning most of his 50/50s. Not brilliant defensively or attacking, don't remember seeing him have a shot or make a last man tackle or anything really dramatic like that. Neither is he making big mistakes.

He's been playing the left side of a 3 man defence, maybe good with both?
