Everyone has noticed our slow tempo football for a long time now and youri is one of the problems, he has no energy or desire and that filters through the whole team, I honestly believe he’s up there with the best in the league on his day but that’s no good if you’re a passenger for a season at a time, I personally would rather a high energy box to box replacement with steel and am ok with him going

What does everyone expect ready made superstar complete players coming off a conveyor belt? They have both showed more talent and commitment this season than most of our big signings, praise them when we win but instantly blame when we lose is embarrassing, I’ve seen so much money wasted on shite over the years and it makes me proud watching our academy lads out on the pitch even if they don’t always get it right

Being so young and still learning his trade he will be inconsistent and have dodgy moments, looks like some people can’t wait to jump on his back and scapegoat but I personally believe he has enormous potential and needs patience and support from us not criticism. We’re very lucky to have these young lads coming through, most other clubs would kill to have 4 academy products of the talent we’ve got in there 1st team
