This is exactly why I struggle to fully embrace the Rodgers project, we might have some success under him but it will always be his own reputation the comes first never the club, just seems like one of those narcissistic characters who will blame anyone else but himself

If we’re all completely honest with ourselves we’ve never been defensively sound under Rodgers, set pieces and poor decision making has been a regular problem but we’ve always been able to score goals and can be deadly for periods during the 3 seasons he’s been in charge so I’m still hoping and believing we can get a run going starting at villa🤞🤞🤞 I’m fully prepared for another shite performance on Sunday but will always have the hope something will click!

I agree top 4 is a long shot but you never know, win these next 2 and we’re back in the mix with something to hope for, I’d happily take europa again after the start we’ve had. Think we’ll know after the next 2 if we’ve actually turned a corner.

Just my humble opinion, I’ve always liked his team’s attacking football but am also aware of the amount of goals his Wigan and Everton teams used to concede, just think it would be entertaining to have an attack orientated team

On paper there’s so much to be positive about, probably our best ever squad, new training ground, stadium development and a coach that is highly rated my the majority of the football world but come match day everything’s a bit flat like the players are only at 70% and there hearts not in it, I know we’ve had a few good performances but it’s been crap for too long now, something has to change soon.

I get what you’re saying but you don’t have to be a brain scientist to see we’ve got a real problem defending set pieces, I personally love how far we’ve come along during Rodgers time here, it’s just infuriating watching every other team have a field day in our box for a while now and nothing is really changing.

I watched him on Saturday and he actually looks like an old player that’s legs have gone, he can’t seem to get around the pitch anymore almost like he’s running through water

I’d take smalling all day long, I don’t care if there not great on the eye just need someone that loves defending and leads by example
