Oh course Sean From Enderby isn’t serious, he’s named after that fella who used to call into the moan-in. it’s a top troll account though gets people so riled up

Left footed Albrighton. The meltdown on here when mcneil comes in play left back and Castagne plays Right wing

We can take Watkins/Lewis etc in a couple years off Newcastle and Villa once they’ve proved themselves at this level

such disrespect for England’s first choice left back

Massive gamble given the uncertainty over when we would be able to recoup any overspend. the only clubs doing any business right now are City - we all know about their bankrolling, and Chelsea whose transfer ban has actually been a blessing for them giving them a big stack of cash to spend in a buyers market. We will make signings, just don’t Ben expecting £100m of money that we don’t have.
-
We already had one of the highest wages to turnover ratios in the league - third highest behind reckless Everton and Bournemouth who’s turnover is tiny. in 18/19 for every £1 we made we spent 85p just on wages - and that’s before the big bumper contracts for Maddison & Vardy. Given the owners ambition for self sufficiency and the big loss in revenue from match day income and reduced tv revenue yes we probably don’t have much to spend?

I knew Bryan a bit growing up, he's a nice fella and would be a contender for the most intelligent footballer... Doesn't make him any good though

Over the past 18-24 months we’ve been one of the best run clubs in the world and I would imagine there’s 20 clubs in this country who will look at how we’ve developed and look to emulate it. We have a reputation of playing hard ball in selling our players and will only do so when it’s in our best interest. We regularly give key players new deals that recognise their development and quality and we play a relatively attractive style of football. We threw away CL football which is a blotch on the record but that would’ve been overachieving compared to where we would expect to be anyway Yes it’s a shame we can’t keep Chilwell but we seem to be holding off until we’ve got the money reinvested - another good move by the hierarchy to avoid being overcharged for having too much cash in the bank

smashing back doors summer 2015
-
Get him down on an improved 3-4 year deal, get him out on loan to the championship next season and hopefully make £2m-3m from him next summer
-
this is a worryingly sparse pre-season. I remember summer 2016 when there were lots of rumours we were smashing it in behind closed doors friendlies after only 4 official matches and we barely started that season off well...
-
£50m cash + add ons for appearances, England caps, CL qualification etc taking it up to £60m is a pretty good deal for us- he’s certainly replaceable and there’s some value to be had at full back so we can reinvest in more priority areas of the squad. sell Chilwell and get in Lewis and Trincao would be good business or Tagliafico if he’s really available for £20m
-
Chelsea were interested though - in more concrete terms than they have been for Chilwell
-
Seems Chelsea have been priced out and are moving onto other options (Tagliafico or Tsimikas)

Young inexperienced team lose momentum with a mid season break and injuries. young inexperienced midfielder loses ball in silly area and we lose. hopefully we’ll be back better and wiser next season.

Financial Overview of Leicester City

We took loans out against the fee instalments for Mahrez and Maguire so thatll be a sizeable chunk. e.g we sold Utd’s £80m transfer debt to a bank for £79.5m cash or something -
He has a really weird throw in technique, like he can’t be arsed to throw it properly but still gets it 10-15 yards

Welbeck to Chelsea confirmed

Gray was having a big ol’ chat with Tammy Abraham after the game and Perez was having a grin with Azpilicueta too, the camera just didn’t focus on those because there’s not a narrative there. Maybe Demarai and Perez are going to be replacing Pedro and Willian?

We have nothing to lose throwing big Wes up top doesn’t mean it’s a good idea

George Thomas and Viktor Johansson 8 released by Leicester City

It's easy to criticise the club for not getting players out on loan, but maybe clubs just don't want our players? Or we need to be selective on where players go? It didn't help Sam Hughes going to sit on Salford's bench, it didn't help Kapustka sitting on OHL's bench and it likely wouldn't help someone like Darnell Johnson if the only takers were L2 clubs -
Premier League Released / Retained players 2020/1

Yep can see him going Arsenal/West Ham/Everton out of desperation on their behalf. For that fee and wages it’s a no from me, especially as he’s somewhat downed tools this season. -
