They have about £150m debt to a very very shady offshore firm who make Macquarie look like the NYSE, £250m owed to Moshiri himself and they’ve started work on this new £500m stadium with no funding in place for it. They have a complete shitshow of a squad built with no purpose or plan and if they do go down I’d imagine they’ll be close to Portsmouth levels of danger. There’s actually not a great deal of talent in the squad to sell to balance those books and looks like Moshiri wants to get out before it all goes tits up

Yes we do need a number of players in the refresh the team. However what he doesn’t recognise is that’s because the players he’s brought in haven’t been up to the standard. So he says he needs a refresh to overhaul his own poor recruitment. And it is all his recruitment because he got to bring in his own guy to oversee it

Looking at the squad list, we have 24 senior players - so only room right now for 1 incoming (fofana replacement) without any departures. However I wouldn't be surprised if Bertrand isn't registered and depending on Ricardo's injury status we may not have to register him until January.
