Came here as number 1. Turned down an offer from Chelsea as he doesn't want to be number 2/3

England vs Argentina - Weds 15th July - 20.00 (BST)
Richard replied to StanSP's topic in World Cup 2026
All fair points and yes I'm just about old enough to remember Someone 98. However the point is that the whole nation of Argentina feel that way about us, and I'm not sure a lot of England realises -

I don't think we realise here just how big this is for Argentina as country - they despise us and are 100% their biggest rival. Whereas I think 99% of the English don't really give Argentina a second thought -
Tuchel literally just motivating his players and it has clearly worked - no one is going to be more motivated about putting in a good performance now than Bellingham.

Mazda 2 1.6 or a Mazda 3 2.0 petrol. Skyactiv engines are very reliable so you can comfortably stretch to higher mileage and get good economy on motorway drives without worrying about DPF issues in the city

Baz only wanted the white ball job anyway... -
Djed Spence one of the all time England cameos there. Outstanding performance

We did win the premier league doing an awful lot of this tbf

Since when was this an attacker "stepping into the space of the defender" a part of the rules??? Soft penalty but they're just making these rules up as they go

Monga to Man City £10 Million - Official.
Richard replied to Aus Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
He could've easily refused a contract and moved for about £200k at tribunal with a massive signing on bonus so thank you Jez for that. A massive help to the club in this time. Birmingham retired Jude Bellingham's shirt number for this reason. I know it's slightly different in that Monga probably thought we'd be a top-end champ/PL team by the time he turned 17 but still deserves a mention -
Can we please just bin off foxes hub in total and just go back to using BBC RL commentary? It's higher quality, more insightful and I'd imagine a lot cheaper for the club as well.

We couldn't do it now because we're miles behind where we were in terms of data and sports science!
-
I remember back in the NP days they did a 30 minute behind the scenes documentary about all the sports science going on at Evians. Unfortunately looks like it's been taken down can't find it on the OS or YouTube

No chance he stays. He doesn't want to be here either.

I can see why they made tickets for day 5 free now -
Fits the profile that McCaron wants to target
-
Out of necessity I would argue. He joined after the transfer window closed with one real striker. He said multiple times in interviews the players could only play one way, there's no option for a big target up top to play off, one of Daka/Ayew needs to be on the bench to offer something different at 60 minutes. Before this he'd always favourite highly structured and disciplined banks of 4 - just like Gracia. Martin and Mason are polar opposite coaches
-
Yes?
-
Martin and Mason both "modern" coaches focused on possession and 4231 Gracia and Rowett structured 442 men The worst thing about that list is it's still quite clear we don't know how we want to play and we're going to keep lurching from one extreme to the other.

If only we had 10% of the standards and togetherness that squad had
-
Remember when Nige got the whole squad to boycott RL for about 3 seasons
