Would also be perfect for the middle of a 3. Can receive the ball and play off his left or right foot and his lack of pace won’t be an issue

They’re willing to not replace Varane and Ramos if they can get Mbappe. Ridiculous club.

If we start the season with a back 5 of Stolarcyzk, Amartey, Benkovic, Nelson and Sowah with Daley-Campbell for cover then I’ll worry. Until then nah. -

He looked more like a #10 and certainly offered no width like Sowah did on the other side. Left Thomas very isolated in possession and forced the ball inside. Like we say it was all about the fitness but to me looked very incoherent -

Anyone got any ideas on what was going on with the formation 2nd half? Looked like a lopsided 4-3-3 with no one out on the left wing. kDH a few times opened up for that diagonal and there was no one out there -

As Hasselbaink said post match, Burton are 10 days ahead of us in pre-season and performance or result don’t matter -
I wouldn’t be against him being involved in the first team squad next year and having a proper squad number, cup appearances etc. However he needs to realise he is quite rightly behind Tielemans, Maddison, Soumare, Ndidi, Praet, Choudhury, Mendy and Dewsbury-Hall until he actually shows anything in senior football.

“But that all depends on the club and what they can do for us. Football is a short life and sometimes you don’t get what you want just because you love something. If Leicester want they can keep Sidnei easily. “There are some amazing big clubs after him. He is a good young kid. Sidnei has a market but our priority is Leicester.” that’s a quote from his dad in an interview with Tanner in the athletic.

I’ve said it before in here but it’s all about the money for him. A £30k 4 year deal would set his family up for life whereas we’ve seen plenty of talented young players before fail to fulfil their potential and ended up in the wilderness (anyone remember Ryan Gauld from Dundee? Looks like we play hard ball with the u23s who think they’re something special. We’ll develop you and give you opportunities but we’re not giving you 1st team salaries until you’re a 1st team player.

£12m seems like a steal for Ward now
-
His Dad did an interview with the athletic where he basically said it’s all about the money and how big a contract he can get.

In the aftermath of the final Michael Cox and the Chelsea correspondent both wrote about how Chelsea were unlucky and won the xG. The same Michael Cox who wrote a piece in favour of the Super League. Straight after an FA cup final with all that drama and emotion the first thing they write about is Chelsea having 0.5 higher xG? Ridiculous.

Real would have him as a Ramos replacement if they could afford him
-
I looked at Castagne’s face on the TV as he looked at the linesman praying for a flag that didn’t come and thought **** this we’re done. Then Sav the fair weather City fan starts saying it’s offside and got my hopes up.
-
He’s too good for a Championship loan now.
-
Crazy... but I don’t think we even need Gosens anymore
-
I’m so proud of the lad takes everything in his stride. He’s going places he looked like he’d been doing this for years
-
He’s in a CL final. We got Fofana and Castagne with his fee. HE’s got what he wanted. We got a good deal. Let’s leave it there

Ah that’s my bad saw the similar name on the bench and assumed it was him. Strange situation to have a few rated goalkeepers when only one can play each week. Oliver Bosworth won academy player of the year 2 years running too? -

What’s this Chibueuze guy like? Seen he’s been making USA senior squads but doesn’t seem to get much game time with us? -
Article in the athletic basically says he’s after whoever will offer the most cash. I’d imagine we’ll hold firm on that one as we have in the past however weren’t we paying Chilwell about £20k before he really broke through?
