Could see Liverpool coming in for him tomorrow https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62729660

With the current recruitment situation and general uncertainty around management we should be looking at the kind of shitty loan with option deals that other clubs have used on us for a long time. If they're shit/Brendan is sacked and the new manager isn't keen then there's not a great loss plus will save some cash for the big squad issues that are coming around next summer where we will need 5 or 6 first teamers to replace the expiring contracts.
-
He’ll go. He wasn’t even in his training kit at Brentford and wasn’t injured so he knows he’ll be nowhere near the squad.

Whose only had an account since June 2022. Fake account trying to get followers before they sell it

We need to get rid of 2 of Vestergaard, Amartey and Soyuncu for this to happen most likely.
-
€20m and everyone’s happy. We’ve recouped our outlay and essentially just had him on loan for a year.
-
Reported that West Ham offered him £150k a week but Forest offered £200k

Being a professional athlete and striving to be one of the best people in the world at what you do is a little different to doing your Year 9 chemistry homework.

There are new UEFA sustainability rules coming into effect this summer which we are currently not complying with. The current lack of activity, contracts running down, and 1 in 1 out transfer policy I would imagine is keeping this in mind. There’s no point KP piling money in if we’re going to be fined/banned from UEFA competition anyway. https://www.uefa.com/returntoplay/news/0274-14da0ce4535d-fa5b130ae9b6-1000--explainer-uefa-s-new-financial-sustainability-regulations/ The new regulations will see clubs subject to squad cost controls for the first time. The cost control rule restricts spending on player and coach wages, transfers, and agent fees to 70% of club revenues. (The gradual implementation will see the percentage at 90% in 2023/2024, 80% in 2024/2025, and 70% in 2025/2026)

We rarely ever get into a competition to sign players. He’s our #1 target and if there’s a whiff of interest I’ll imagine we’ll go for it, outgoings or not. The Leeds interest in de Ketelaere makes me think we’ve cooled on that

Momo Sylla was quite tall

Remember when Barcelona scouts were apparently following Choudhury….

Jesus when’s the new season starting

They did a great job at suffocating the centre of the pitch and around their own box. Almost no space for Maddison to turn into all game. they showed almost nothing on the counter attack and Tielemans again losing concentration cost us a goal. We just need to keep concentrated for the whole game even when we feel in control otherwise Mourinho will do us They allow us a lot of efforts from 20 yards and if Maddison can get in the rhythm there’s not many better from that range

Outrageous opinion classic foxestalk -
We were 2-0 up after half an hour obviously we weren’t going to go bombing forward creating chances looking to score loads. butxG doesn’t show that we were cruising whilst Brentford were chasing it
-
Walsh is like Wenger. Claims he was about to sign everyone before they were world class. We need to be trying to stay ahead of everyone else with recruitment, not go back to someone who had a few great picks 7/8 years ago. Football has moved on and scouting and analytics certainly has. Ive heard he was also a source of info leaks.

Love how he’s a premier league footballer and still shops at Asda

The signing of Bertrand was fine. Yeah he’s not brilliant but he’s experienced and takes the pressure off Thomas starting every week - we saw how Chilwell struggled with that. Vestergaard is indefensible though. We were told he was shit, we thought he was shit, and turns out yeah he is shit and £15m down the drain when we really needed someone to step in immediately. Perez if the £30m was to be believed was way overpriced. If he cost £10m we’d say he was a decent signing but he just can’t replicate his Newcastle form looks just like a Liverpool Rodgers signing

Outrageous officiating tonight
-
Chilwell’s first major contract in was around that amount. Before he’d made his PL debut
-
And yet they still play have a midfield of McTominay and Fred. They’ve signed big names who’ll sell shirts, get investors excited and get the stock price up but they have bought what they actually need. They’re relying on Ronaldo’s cult of personality to deliver them something.

Babylad…. Is that you? -
I think he’s got 12 months left in his deal and is refusing to sign a new one. Barca want to make an example out of him
