  1. PSR definitely needs to be reworked. It's ridiculous that under the current regulations, it's better to sell an academy product for £15m than it is to sell off a duffer in his 30s for £20m because of book value and amortisation. Surely, going forward, any promoted side will be able to include their expected TV income, or they really will have to spend nothing.
  2. Why the fvck is there not a relegation clause? There was hardly a queue of clubs in for RVN.
  3. The PFA would have an absolute meltdown but clubs do need to break player power. Over the course of about 15 years the TV deal got more and more lucrative. The problem is, the club's didn't get to keep that money. Player's wage rises outstripping the TV money so it ended up being a net loss for almost every PL club. The simple retort to that is, 'the club's didn't have to offer those wages' but the truth is, they did if they wanted to sign anyone. If one club doesn't pay it, there's another five that will (and then some). Break clauses should be the norm and also, loyalty bonuses need to be reshaped so a player can't moan about joining another club, sulk, threaten to go on strike, be tapped up by 'third parties' and then still bank millions from their loyalty bonus because they didn't formally request a transfer.
  4. Surely, this just closes the loophole going forward. You can't just change the rules then apply them retrospectively. We were the last to get away with it similar to how we avoided a points deduction when we went into administration.
  5. ASAP. Like Hao doing his Data Analytics degree in Dallas constitutes a national emergency...
  6. Not hard since the conclusion was, 'it's the stadium announcer's fault.'
  7. It works both ways, though. "An Algerian winger from Ligue 2? No, thanks. He'll be shit and we've already got Knockaert."
  8. I'd argue playing him would result in a lower fee.
  9. Before his injury, he was on a one-man crusade to stop the ball going in. Since his return, he's probably looked at our league position and the 'defenders' around him and thought, 'fvck it'. I think he'll do well again, next season.
  10. After all this time wondering if Southampton will beat Derby's record low points total, it ends up being us
  11. I don't think any big club comes in for him. His form has been iffy since he came back from his injury. He's probably stopped trying as much since all our defenders just wave the opposition through. He needs a year with a competent defence in front of him to rebuild his confidence and get him back in form. I'm thinking he might stay.
  12. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/two-leicester-city-changes-possible-10097812?utm_source=livescore&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=foryou Faes possibly out for the Brighton game. This could turn our season around.
  13. You'll always have that goal against Spurs...
  14. I think you're being too negative. We're definitely capable of being midtable, next season.
  15. The notification from LiveScore started, 'RVN Leaves..' It got me really excited but the full headline was 'RVN Leaves future in doubt'. Hate it when they do shit like this.
  16. Crying about my first break up, shouting every word to Eamon's F**k It (I Don't Want You Back). If you're reading this Claire, I know it's been 21 years and we've both married other people and had kids but I really think we should give it another go.
  17. It actually feels weird on the odd occasion our players are competent.
  18. Apart from watch the clock until they can go home, go walkies and check the M1 traffic reports, what the fvck do they do all week?
  19. I know it's short notice but does anyone have 12000 tickets they're not using?
  20. Just watched MOTD2 with March's goal of the month. Cucurella and Bruno Fernandes goals against us were nominated. Both decent hits but not a single defender anywhere near them or even thinking of closing down. Now, I don't really care about that. We're shit and I accepted that months ago. I just think that any goal scored against us should be barred from being nominated for goal of the month. You might as well include goals scored in training against mannequins.
  21. He's indirectly responsible for every point we've got, so far.
  22. Good Boy of the Season: Vesty's dog (it's not his fault, his owner's a cvnt.
  23. Ohhhh. So it's not the owners, board, management or the players. It's our fault. Good to know.
