Is that not the story of our season? I think it is a little worrying that we keep losing to our mistakes - and on the other hand missing out when our opportunities come up. We have "f..... up the season" because of this and Puels and the players inability to iron out these errors. He is much to defensive and cautious for my liking and it seems to rub of on the players. So we have repeated these mistakes time after time and that is not ok.

He does seem to be very conservative (read late) in his substitutions - so he is partly to blame

We do lack movement up front when playing it around outside their box. Too easy to close us down.

Most worrying fact is the FA affiliated ref and linesmen. Could get ugly...

You do have a point. We do have more failures in recruitment than successes. What is the actual role of Rudkin? Foes he do the recruiting on the basis of wishes from the manager, the owners of what he sees fit? Or is there some other way around? Or is it a third "solution"? We seem to have problems integrating players both on and off the field - a cardinal sin for every cooperation hiring staff. Normally there would be a plan for employement. Both as to the role the new person is going to fill and not least an introduction plan that makes the new recruits function (and payback ASAP). Not here. We seem to recruit and leave players to sort themselves out. So even though we can blame individuals in the organisation - individuals that seem to be able to ride the wave whatever happens - there is a deeper problem within the organisation of LCFC that needs to be solved. Firing the manager won´t help - fixing the basic problem whatever that may be will/should.

If Puel is the manager you indicate then he should have sorted out the Mahrez issue in relation to the squad. We played awful football before the Mahrez issue and there is no excuse for playing the wrong players which there seems to be uniform agreement upon that he did today. So he is the manager and has to sort it out - and his decisions are certainly not helping the cause. We play like crap, cannot break down the Stoke defence and have a playmaker sitting on the bench as an unused sub why? And that has nothing to do with Mahrez, squad inheritance but pure bad judgement on his part!

Up to a point you are right - the turned the season around - but the last 10-12 games have given (I think) 2 victories and some extremely boring play. To my mind he is not using the right players for the system he wants to play - and that is a no go....

Sorry - but that is b.....t. He has been here for months and did not inherit a bad squad. We have just regressed into posession based football that brings us absolutely nowhere. He benches Iborra, Silva and Drago and plays Morgen, James and Gray. That is mind boggling. He is much too slow acting with substitutions and we are turd like in our play. He (and we) are very lucky that we have points on the board or else we´d be in a serious relegation scrap - which could unfortunately still happen. He is on a burning platform and should start to show what he is made of instead of the crap we have been served for months now. So he is getting his chance and seems to be blowing it big time!

But cannot really see a win from anywhere - so 3 might be too much anyway. And we have nothing to do in Europe with our performances of recently - we´d be an embarassement
