  1. I remember us tearing Derby apart as always with Vardy and Waghorn looking the business together. Then the run in with the constantly rotating forward line was shambolic.
  2. Iborra in the conference final. Good lad
  3. And set up another. Great noise in Bergamo
  4. Kudos. Best food I ever had was probably in southern Turkey and northern Syria just before the Syrian war. I vote your place for a foxestalk get together.
  5. In the meantime please do put any Berlin sexvirate recommendations in the holiday thread.
  6. Where did that socio-political compass go? It was awful, I loved it.
  7. I'm trying to think of a Wood, Wag Horn, Schlupp joke...
  8. 'Can't do it in the big game' feels like a recent American import, where they put so much emphasis on the star player in the key position. It's a team sport and Kane had very little to do with them getting knocked out yesterday. He scored one in the first leg, made one in the second, and they lost after he came off.
  9. 2012-13 was such a weird season
  10. And Waghorn and Schlupp, who played up front with Wood from time to time. We had a rotating sexvirate of forwards who, apart for Waggers, all went on to play and score in the Premier League.
  11. More than the government or the Leave campaign it was the press and their constant denigratory stories about Eastern Europeans and the social & economic situation in European countries. The elected government in 2016 actually presented a pretty clear analysis of what Brexit would mean, even if it was half-hearted. Compared to other countries I've lived in I actually think our politics is slightly more honest and transparent but much of our media is deranged (see the Express and the never-ending Brexit benefits) and our population is relatively clueless when it comes to the cause-effect of government policy. Obviously you can't totally disentangle that from politics.
  12. Welcome back. Really sorry to hear about your health problems and I hope you continue to make progress in the future.
  13. I think some on here don't like him because his spell at LCFC reflects badly on Pearson
  14. Looks just off to me and they only scored because Real stopped playing. Bayern just being typical Germans whinging about 'corrupt' southern Europeans.
  15. Yeah it should have been, but I don't think Bayern can claim they've been robbed when it looked like it would've been ruled out anyway.
  16. Pretty sure it was offside and VAR would've ruled it out. Bayern sound a bit desperate
  17. Oops wrong thread
  18. Nice guy. Mums of Leicestershire will be distraught
  19. He was offside. So maybe they didn't follow protocol by playing on but it's not an injustice.
  20. Though if Neuer had made a very routine save they almost certainly would've gone through.
  21. He whistled it dead anyway
  22. I do like to see a crestfallen German
  23. I think if Nacho grabbed me by the throat I'd probably react similarly
  24. I'd like Kane to win it. And especially Dier after the ridiculous criticism of him from certain sections of the English press and Tottenham fans.
