  3. Going to wear your 2000-01 Muzzy Izzet shirt to the game?
  4. I think people overestimate Farage and Reform. He's a not too bright, America-brained saloon bar bore who is popular amongst people who see themselves in him. Even if he got in, which he won't, it would be like Brexit - not fascism but more economic decline that quickly becomes unpopular.
  5. In Britain
  6. Please let him in the party after the election. Make him leader. I want to see their popularity plummet even further as the Nigel Farage Hot Pics fanclub continue to literally die off.
  7. Farage has moved on from Eastern Europeans I see.
  8. Did he dive out the way?
  9. Also started hate-watching it. Let's see how much Gary Neville I can stand before throwing the laptop out of the window.
  10. long noun phrases don't help
  11. Will be cheering for them for the first time ever on Friday. Not sure how to do it, any tips welcome.
  12. Think you've misunderstood what I'm saying
  13. You're right though, it's absolutely miserable. Hate it.
  14. I think the widespread belief that an opinion in politics is worth more coming from someone who is more 'in touch' with the working class is damaging, as Leicesmac points out in the post above yours.
  15. You don't have to have struggled to be in touch or relate to voters. I grew up in relative wealth and didn't go without anything, but I think I'm quite aware of the difficulties people face in the UK these days. I think this notion, that is quite prevalent in the UK, that your opinions or policies are somehow more valid if you can prove you've had a working-class upbringing or worked in the 'real world' is and has been quite damaging.
  16. Tories complaining about mass immigration and constitutional vandalism lmao.
  17. I would prefer if politicians didn't try to. The prolier than thou stuff is one of the worst aspects of British politics and society in general.
  18. Absolutely disgusting. Disgusting misuse of the apostrophe.
  19. went well then
  20. I vaguely remember why he did this but to be honest I think I've deliberately expunged it from my memory
  21. question is who has the smallest from all our previous managers? Gotta be Megson, surely?
  22. I think if we're talking the actual signing, like the timing and the decision to bring someone in, rather than the long term impact of the player (if that makes sense?!), Huth's loan signing takes some beating. Really think we'd have gone down without him, and the careers of the man above and Mahrez may look quite different.
