Headline makes it sound like he did it in one game.

I'm glad I can rarely understand what he's saying because the stuff I do understand is about as funny as a house fire

Thought it was a pretty perfect performance away at a relatively good side until Winks' mistake.

Concourse shop was a bit of a letdown. Ran out of pies before h/t ffs

Lord give me the self belief of Scousers.

There are penalties and penalties. When I think back to Nugent's it was like the goalkeeper dived out of the way for half of the ones he scored. Daka really buries them.

Yeah fair point about United. Though there was a time when it seemed like we always lost to them. And I think the win in 2011 was the first at Bramall Lane in decades.

Never confident when we play a team from Sheffield

He's so good. Sure he's not perfect, like any other player. But everything he does - passing, positioning, blocking, finishing - he does better than anybody else on the pitch. And as others have said he also seems like a top guy. I love him and I love that he plays for Leicester.

Thought Ricardo was great as ever. Privilege watching him play for Leicester

I think both teams are far enough ahead of the others that they'd win the playoffs.
-
It's going to be the three relegated teams that go straight back up I think. When was the last time that happened?

Would definitely be in my LCFC all time five aside team

Haven't been down since the Roma game. Will have to pop in. -
The algorithms have found me and my YouTube is currently full of Deeney Day content. I know it's a become a bit of a meme but it really is so weird that they celebrate it so much considering they lost the final then lost badly to us the next season. Even with it being such a dramatic finish. It's also interesting that at the time I couldn't watch and thought I probably never would. Now it means nothing, in fact in some way I quite like seeing it. Has there ever been a game that we collectively got over quicker than that?

When I lived in Bulgaria in the early 2010s, which is admittedly the poorest EU country, at least half the people I was teaching - mostly from middle income families that owned their own home - aspired to live in W Europe. And when I did a teaching qualification in 2008 I remember in my practice classes we had someone with a Master's degrees from Czechia working an an au pair in Cambridge. That probably still happens to some extent (I'm sure there are also highly qualified Brits that struggle to find work) but I don't really see that many Slavs working in service jobs in London anymore, they seem to have been replaced firstly by S. Americans and now S.E. Asians. There are loads of push and pull factors to immigration which I don't really know loads about but I imagine the biggest ones are standards of living in your home country and for that reason I think EU migration was always going to decline from the admittedly quite high numbers in the 2000s.

He's alright. I don't think he's quite as David Brent-y as people claim. By all accounts he had a hard upbringing and he's done well for himself. His career has been impressive so far and he seems enthusiastic about playing football a certain way which I like. I doubt he'll go on to be a top PL manager but it would be an excellent achievement if he can get them up and hopefully go on a run in the cup.

is Biden vs Trump the election with the worst skin tones in world history?
-
It is, but other countries like Germany are struggling now to attract immigrants from e.g. Poland and from my own observations I would say most middle class E. Europeans are no longer that enamored with the thought of moving to the West. This is a good thing obviously.

Don't really know why I respond to straw man arguments like this but migration from the EU has been declining for some time and I believe was net negative last year. This was always likely to happen as living standards increased in those countries, which they have. But it's not just that living standards there have improved, they have declined significantly here. I imagine the majority of people from Europe that move here now are lower paid and lower skilled, precisely the people that Brexiters were worried about.

I've posted it before but considering the "Scouse not English" stuff it is ironic that if clubs were countries, Liverpool would 100% be England.

This is so good, and I know we have a few history enthusiasts and Italophiles on this forum. Detailed but very accessible. Anybody interested in the end of the Western Roman Empire and/or early medieval Europe will enjoy. Enjoy also a picture of my crotch which I'm also giving to you for free.

That's good to hear, and I hope you continue to have a good experience and that you're healthy. It does worry my partner and I though that if we want a check up we need urgent healthcare we won't be able to get it. I'm sure it's unlikely that'll happen but the stories not only in the press but also from friends don't fill us with confidence.

Best goal you've seen scored against us
